I used to go through there often in the late 70s & 80s. I worked a couple blocks away & took the subway. My friend's parents had a high end shop at the top level. I miss Toronto.
The ceiling is magnificent, it brings in so much light and gives a nice open-air feeling. It all looks clean and new too. Wow the food court sure is Big!
Yes, the ceiling is pretty spectacular, and as good as 4k video is, seeing it in real life is way better lol. Just grabbing a coffee and hanging out on the upper floors for a few minutes is fun. And yes, the food court is big. Gets very busy though on the weekends. Sometimes tough to find seating if you are there with a big group of friends.

Thank you for sharing this with us. I was in Toronto for two weeks exactly fifteen years ago and walked through the Eaton Centre quite a few times. The food courts offered a pretty good selection of meals. I hope they still do. :-)
15 years ago? Sounds like it's time for another visit lol. Yes the food court has lots of selections, and man it's a huge area. There's a separate food court at the other end of the mall aside from the main. Thanks for watching!
@@MyWalkAround I think you are right. A wonderful idea to expore the streets again myself. As I wrote stories for children back then, I wrote some about this trip, too, where I mixed realty with fiction., and I put it on my website The photos on the webpage have been lost unfortunately, but the text is still there: www.geocities.ws/danielroy66/canada.html
I kinda liked it more back 15+ years ago. It's mostly high end stores now. Before there were some sketchier stores in the basement and area where the Eaton Center turns a corner which specialized in some interesting stuff.
Oh really? I didn't realize that! Yeah that is strange, being downtown and a definite tourist area you would think they be on top of that. Thanks for the info!
@@MyWalkAround Thanks for answering... well, actually i was there in July/19 and stayed most part of my time in Ottawa, Although, i did spend around 5 days in Toronto (loved it btw) Planning on traveling back to Canada in January/21. I'm from Brazil

I’ve been to Eaton Centre Mall. It’s absolutely gorgeous inside. I went there with my mom when I was a teenager. My deepest wish is to go back there someday.

I wish I could go back and see what the shops and the interior looked like back then!

I had the experience to enjoy the Eaton Centre last year. The Best Mall I've ever been at the moment.
Yes, for me it's the long glass ceiling at the top. Something really cool about that , and being on the upper level.
@@MyWalkAround I agree, The Eaton Centre is in another league buddy. Also, Toronto it's a Great City.
bring back memories back to 2009
It’s reminds of that show 6teen the galleria mall it looks super similar except this one is smaller

@@rlam905 yes it'd be fun to go back and do a walk around back then to see the differences...
It seems there are more high end stores at the Eaton Center in 2020 which are to pricey for me but it is a nice building to stroll though on occasion
Yes expensive shops for sure! Thanks for watching!

Winters in Toronto are strange. Some days -10 with snow, other days just above freezing and sunny. It's so weird lol...where are u from?

Which one do u think is bigger. Toronto Canada Eaton mall. Or Westfield Mall in London Uk
Oh I don't know. Eaton centre is pretty big, but I don't know anything about Westfield mall. Are u from the UK?
@@MyWalkAround no I'm from Toronto canada, but I have been to both, I was just comparing them, and I think Eaton mall looks bigger
Where is this mall in Toronto ? Is it close to Yorkdale Mall? it seems to look more bigger than Yorkdale I thought Yorkdale was the biggest
