Damn, i was 16 when i met people that i play dying light with. A lot of good memories. Sadly we got older and they stopped playing. Just knowing that there is a new dying light on the corner, makes me think about all that fun memories.
Well 1 thing to mention about the floaty parkour, techland had mentioned that they had actually used the realistic 9.8m/s for dl2 and that dl1 had 2x the gravity, so this should be more realistic. Also i feel its safe to assume it might be more "floaty" because of Aiden's experimentations that happened to him as a kid which may make him more superhuman. Who knows though? 🤷♂️
That and the first parkour skill allows you to control how high you jump so you can mitigate the float level. I’m imagining that this was a recent solution as it pleases the people who have an issue with the floaty parkour and it doesn’t make them delay the release of the game or flat out make some jumps impossible. Hopefully it’ll play out well in practice

That shits gonna get used up FAST as soon as the world goes to shit, and in dying light 2 its 20 years after patient 0. Its gonna be near impossible to find fuel, so i dont think thats really gonna be possible unless you find a way to make a vehicle use an alternate fuel source. Perhaps electrical, Or flammable gas like a hot air balloon or something like it. Just some details of the world u have to considor.

Was just using diamonds as a relative metric for how valuable gasoline would be comparatively to here and now vs the fictional dying light universe. 1 thing i think you got wrong: there isn't an absence of "gunpowder-based" weapons but they apparently are very rare. Bows (and i think crossbows too) are way more distributed around the world now (since we're basically back in the middle ages according to the DL2 narrative) But nice video nontheless 👍🏻
what i meant was there are no guns like in DL1. there are gunpowder/scrap based low-tier shotguns and pistols, sorta like the eokas from rust, but other than that no 9mm, 5.56mm weapons etc. happy you enjoyed!

We will have a few custom guns in the game. It seems we don’t have many weapons compared to the first game but Im sure we will have some more from dlcs and community events.

it’s simply the footage from the trailer. Actually the official footage I used was from the older gen consoles, and in that official gameplay there were actually some genuine stutters. Tech land isn’t lying at all and actually being honest with how the game will perform on older consoles which is pretty crazy.

Nah no guns , there’s a shotgun pistol which I believe is the only gun in the game as of now and the ammo is rare to find. It’s more of a gadget like the grappling hook more than a firearm
The whole dark weapons set was honestly such a great reward for getting far in the games progression. As long as they have any fluorescent weapons I’ll be happy
Keep in mind, there won't be any cross play or cross gen play at launch! Not a problem for me, I only have one friend on last gen but we will both be playing solo the first time anyways. But in case anyone only wants to play with a friend, be warned! Cross gen at least is hopefully going to be arriving soon.
@@treyllo I don't even really care about cross play in games anymore tbh, because the PC experience is generally so different from the console one. I played no man's sky on PS5 and my friend was on PC. Load times were different, more visual bugs, desynchronization, etc are all more common cross platform. However cross gen feels necessary, and hopefully they hustle on it.
What i don't understand is, why couldn't they add NG+ and story mode difficulty right from the beginning? Immortals Fenix rising had a NG+ right from the beginning so i don't understand why Techland cant do the same...I wanna feel OP when i play this, NOT terrified all the time!!!
I would go out at night all the time in dl1 because after a certain point I stopped caring about dying and I learned all the good routs to get from point a to point b, in my opinion the game was too easy at some points
Almost perfect but you dropped the ball COMPLETELY at the 500hrs thing, they literally spelled it out on twitter explaining that it referred to multiple playthroughs making different choices. You sounded uniformed at that point and damaged the momentum of the video.
my fault if your right but either way it’s misleading in general. Not really about the 500 hours anyway as 98% of people will never put that much time into it. About the story length + side quest content
nah, they literally said like 99% chance it would stay this way because they basically finished it they just wanted to work on bugs and things the community were kinda iffy about, and at this point its basically 100% chance

@@treyllo i mean... there wasn’t a detection INDICATOR, but you could absolutely sneak past enemies, perform stealth takedowns and even use their guts as camouflage, DL2 is undoubtedly gonna have better stealth but that’s not to say Dying Light 1 had no stealth system at all.
200 different melee weapons… And yet how much are you willing to bet that many of the weapons are just different skins or do the same things. Also, the combat is just not doing it this time around….even in the most recent gameplay videos, it just looks stale. This is the biggest issue right now amongst fans of DL1 is the weird combat in DL2.

There is one scrap shotgun that's breaks really quick and the Scorpio which isn't really a "gun" but it still unga bungas the enemies
There will be fire arms, there will be make shift guns, you will need parts to build them.
Mirrors edge catalyst had slightly floaty parkour, but it worked to its benifit. Hopefully it does the same here

there was no real detection meters. You could use the skill and shit but it wasn’t true stealth, just an ability.
