Jiu is perfectly fine at P0 and considering the amount of broken characters coming out RIGHT AFTER Jiu, there's no reason to P1 her and potentially miss out on Marcus, Vila, Isolde, or Windsong.

You only need to get one copy, so set aside about 40 pulls. You'll get about 100 over the course of the event, meaning you'll get her guaranteed.

Because cheers will use up all ur liquer status, removing her ability to have buff from I3. Also, if you want to do cast another attack card it might not have enough liquer to have a follow up attack if you dont play it right
Go pause the video at 3:20. Baiscally if you are out of Liquor, your insight 3's "free buff" won't be granted which consequently also may lead you to gaining lesser total team buffs= lesser Liquor gained from Insight 1. It's good to keep it at at least 1 but because the attack incantation consumes 1-3 liquor (2-4 when in cheers), it is a bit RNG based and you might get unlucky.

@@DimBoyz07 for your first question, liquor stacks will be consumed. Even if you only have 2, all 2 liquor stacks will be consumed, leading you to have 0 liquor stacks. 0 liquor stacks = bad thing
For your second question, cheers stacks will be consumed. If you have 0 liquor stacks, Cheers will not trigger until you have at least 1 liquor stack
@@DimBoyz07 but honestly, you dont have to worry too much about the specifics. Jiu is designed such that if you have an aoe buffer on your team, and you have I3 on Jiu, there would always be at least 1 liquor stack being produced each turn
Got her P3 + Shamane + a Regulus portray with 200 pulls. Now i have 170ish left and a guaranteed. Isolde's the next in line.

Even if they started cutting 2 weeks per patch, it would still take us around 10 months to catch up with CN 😭 This gap will always make it so easy to get spoiled.

yeah no. have you seen fgo? they wait years.., it's going to ruin their time table if they cut out the patches. Patches coincide with the battlepass length and people wont have enough pulls and complain if they do a double banner.

Think it’s worth mentioning if R15 and its benefits are worth it since she’s such a limited/goaded unit. Would have also loved to see an example fight going over how her stacks work.
IMO, 37 is more worth to r15 cuz every patch bluepoch release a char that work with her, like Ezra, Jiu, Isolde, windsong and Lucy, she is rly a big investment on cn
R15 is only really worth on strong DPS characters. From what I have heard, Crit focused characters gain the most from R15.
Since characters like Jiu and Lucy are both S+ limited dps characters, I would definitely say they are worth R15.
Jiu will be my first R15

@@Owl00007 It was calculated for most characters on some website, but I forgot where.
But from what I remember, was that DPS units gain the most. Makes sense since they are supposed to be the main damage dealer. So everyone else can just be R9 or R10.
Also if I am not wrong, I think crit based characters/resonance builds gained usually more than just raw damage ones.
The gap can be quite significant. However, choose wisely. Only go above R10 if the character is really worth it.

Will she still perform well even if I don't have 37 or 6? My 6's are just Melania, Jessica and Tooth Fairy, comeback to the game from 1.2 and perplexed by the game's progression and complexity and dunno which and who to pull
yes ofc. 37 is jsut for a specific team. Obviously missing 6 will be annoying, but for the general game's diffuculty, if you're not trying to get max score on raids, she'll be really good even alone
is it worth to do the 200 pull on her banner ?? i have 173 pulls saved up and i will be getting more and i dont know if i should do it since there are many good characters releasing after her
There is no need for this characters. You can clear content with 5 stars or "old" 6 stars. This are for collection, to bring something fresh to the game, let's say more for the aesthetics. Don't stress about it. If you really like the character (like me), go all-in. Yes, good characters appear, and after them, even better ones... and so on... I'm kind of tired of this. If it mattered... but it doesn't matter.
You should pull lol at least for p0 because her ass is not returning for a long while, and shes really good even rn in cn.

I'm sorry but I literally understood nothing at all. Can someone explain in razor language and just tell me how to use her? Like the order of her skills or how to actually play her?
do normal skill first, then do channel skill at the end. when you use ultimate, if you have 6 liquor you do more damage. if you dont, the ultimate gives you 6 liquor instead of doing more damage.

I have voyager (I love her so much got her to I2 lv40 for now), Regulus (I1 level25), and Soneto (I1 level 20). But I really wanna try follow-up mechanic in Reverse 1999 so I got Jiu but I just can't understand how to play her at all so I left her at lvl20 maybe.
@@zeirra.hey!! not sure if you still need some clarification but just thought I’d try to help out. I have not used jiu in actual gameplay just yet and am only sharing based on the guides I watched, so I might not be very accurate/precise!!
[channel] is a specific category of skills, just like [counter], [attack], [health], [buff], etc… every character has 3 cards, 2 of them are normal skills and 1 of them is the ultimate, right? if you look at the bottom of each card of any character, the category of that skill should be written there! for example, voyager’s skill 1 says [attack], and her skill 2 says [counter]. As for jiu, her skill 1 says [attack] and skill 2 says [channel], hope this clears some confusion!
for jiu’s gameplay, you want to make sure you always have [liqour] stacks on her because it makes her skill 1 and ultimate do more damage! every time you use jiu’s skill 1 “bottoms up”, you consume a random number of stacks of [liqour], and do a follow-up attack which deals more dmg the more stacks of [liqour] you consume. if you have 6 stacks of [liqour] and use jiu’s ultimate, you consume all 6 stacks and get 100% penetration = big damage
so how to get [liqour]?? well, if you look at jiu’s I1, she will by default start with 3 stacks, and then gain 1 stack for every 4 unqiue buffs on all allies (unique buff means you can’t double count the same type of buff). there are 2 ways to replenish [liqour] :
1) trigger jiu’s I1. you can use mass buff skills like voyager’s skill 2 which gives [interstellar blessing] and [sturdiness], and sonetto’s skill 2 which gives [dmg bonus increased] and [dmg taken reduction]. this adds up to exactly 4 unique buffs, and you will gain 1 stack of [liqour] in the next round.
2) use jiu’s skill 2 “baijiu ladle”. she will gain 3/6/9 stacks of [liqour] depending on the rank of the card (1*/2*/3*)
as for jiu’s skill priority, always use skill 1 “bottoms up” FIRST then skill 2 “baijiu ladle”, because skill 2 makes her unable to act for the rest of the round. if you are running out of [liqour] and can only use 1AP for jiu, then go for skill 2 “baijiu ladle” to replenish [liqour] stacks.
her follow-up mechanic will trigger in the same round whenever you have [liqour] stacks and use skill 1 “bottoms up”, OR after using skill 2 “baijiu ladle” but for skill 2 it happens in the following round not the current round.
in summary, if you want to use jiu, she should be at least I1! lastly, her main source of damage is from both skills and ultimate, but if you have 6 stacks of [liqour], prioritise her ultimate instead of skills!!

Sadly it seems I'm gradually losing interest in the game. Came here for the story and good VA, but the main story updates too slowly, the side stories aren't that compelling, and things like Uttu or Raids are bluntly tedious. The powercreep tendency isn't helping too.

Gonna be real. The hype for new heroes in r1999 dies 3 month before they release on global. The massive timegap is so annyoing. One of the reasons i m quitting r1999.

Im the complete opposite, I love the small time gap between global and CN, it lets you plan your pulls very easily. I only look at their design and synergies to get an idea if I want to pull or not, I don't even look at their kits.
Also, the game gap is not even that long, I'm grateful its not like FGO's 2 year gap.
It's a reasonable gap, lots of time to plan out your pulls and have the cn server do lots of testing and building. Preparing materials too when the banner hits.
I'm thankful for the gap tho, I could save up 200 pulls bcs of it😅
You're right. If there was a difference of 1-2 days between us and China, I would understand. The release of new characters brings an element of surprise or freshness to this type of game, which unfortunately doesn't apply here. They messed up and they will lose players.
