Unfortunately, luck doesn't affect golden and giant/massive rates for rare fish anymore (so no legendary scale profit), and it is much harder to get those fish.
im at 15k and still no master angler sob i even used a lot of luck 4's but the rare gold fish are js super annoying to get, also why not just fish in 3 places for sea / warm / cold since there only is 3 categories and no sub categories like warm fresh cold sea etc
after you catch the legendary fishes, you can put them in a pot and cook them for a meal. you will still get the legendary scales and golden scales if they are golden
Expert is easy he already has it since you just need to unlock all the fishes in the journal not all the forms like master you can use luck 3 and a graced bronze rod.

You only get 1 scale per fish if you do this, so anyone trying it should keep that in mind
