The biggest reason Joyner Lucas isn't revered as top tier rapper or has stood out is because he hasn't found his own sound. Kendrick, Cole, Drake, Eminem, Kanye, Wayne, Jay, Luda, Nelly, 50, Future etc and etc have their own sound. Joyner to an extend he gives a just a lite version what's already out there. For example, it's hard to argue Kobe ever being considered the GOAT because someone like him did it better before him. Damn near all rapper start off just sounding like the rapper they're influenced by but then find their own sounds. Joyner honestly has not got there yet.
