- Feadship’s 118.9m/ 390ft YN821 entered their dock in Amsterdam nearly two years ago and was launched today. We heard some rumours this hydrogen powered yacht was originally built for Bill Gates, but he already put it on the market with an asking price of EUR 675M before its even delivered. The superyacht industry in Europe creates thousands of highly skilled very well-paying jobs across mostly Europe and North America. This is one industry that the Chinese are desperate to break into. Whether it is true or not, I heard the Chinese were set to take ownership of the Italian Ferretti Yard, sad if true.
