😂 yes it does. Plus when entering Florida there's a huge sign that says, "Welcome to the Sunshine State"! 😂😂. When I first moved here in Florida 36 yrs ago there was Orange groves everywhere, now those are all gone, replaced by houses & buildings. 😢.
When he said he wouldn't do well in jail, i got an image in my head. Shane ridding up in a jail with horrible prison tattoos, a bandana, & a huge gang of prisoners behind him, where he's the leader. I really dig this thought.
If you want to share your IVF journey, it would be an absolute honour to learn what is happening, how you are doing and wishing you both lots of luck and success. But if you change your minds again, please don’t worry! We will be just fine waiting until you are ready to share things, if and when that happens. I was in SoCal for 28 years and the beautiful mountains still gave me joy just seeing them on my way to work or home. When you're raised in a flat place with lots of trees, you can't see very far and certainly no mountains, so yeah, I get it. It's a stunning sight. Never gets old. lol
And most parents will wait a few months before announcing even to the closet friends of a pregnancy. I can see issues with sharing in real time. But we'd like to know in retrospect! This is a brand new experience as well!

The shots are definitely hard but also the hormonal ups and downs , we know Hannah loves candy and ice cream so Shane stock up! Please don't let yourselves get so excited that if the first transfer doesn't result in pregnancy you are devastated. If you are one of the lucky ones that are successful with the first try then great but prepare yourselves if not .
SO glad you all made it to Griffith Park Observatory. It was a LAUSD school field trip destination for us, definitely took it for granted. Cool to hear Shane’s folks liked the mountains. I used to ride my bicycle to the beach from the San Fernando Valley by way of the Sepulveda Pass, a real climb! Thanks for sharing your life journeys.
I love the vibe of your podcasts, and I love how informative you are when it comes to your daily lives. You are both so good at communicating through this style of social media. I am so glad you are putting a lot of thought into the things that you want to share and the things that you want to keep private. Please do not become a family vlog! You can make decisions about your own privacy, and I hope you decide to keep your child's privacy a priority! There are so many negatives out there with family vlogs!

Prayers for a successful IVF journey. We did it one time and God blessed us with girl/boy twins the first time. They are already 5. It's a blessing and I would do it again if I wasn't in my 40s. The shots are not horrible, my husband was able to give them to me. Maybe your mom can help you. I will be glad to talk to you about anything that you think I can help with.

The coconut donuts are the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere and their yeast raised donuts with various toppings will make your knees buckle. No joke. We live on the east coast and pay a small fortune to have them shipped to us every year. That’s how good they are. Enjoy the rest of your time in Cali. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. Phil and alex on TH-cam is a good channel for IVF information. I went through IVF almost 20 years ago in Pittsburgh. My son will be 20 this summer. I will be praying for you both.
I was loling, then writhing and jerking with laughter, eyes rolling in the back of my head as the, "Would you gnaw off my foot at the ankle bone conversation" progressed. Wheezing. No air. You guys never fail to make me smile,and surprise me how often you make me lol, but this was next level hilarity. 👌🏽
Im sending you all the best wishes in your ivf journey! Also, as someone who went through it, the needles are not that bad! Some days were 3 shots and it was honestly no biggie after the first day. That first day i almost passed out haha, but its really something that is built up in our minds. The process can be hard, but dont be worried about needles. You can do it.
I understand being nervous of giving yourself shots. I have MS and the first few MS meds I was on were injections. It gets better and wasn’t as bad as I felt it would be. Wishing you both all the best with this journey.
As much as I can't wait to hear that you are pregnant and as excited as I am for you both, IVF is a very personal process and I hope you don't ever feel that you have to share anything that may be uncomfortable for you. This process is going to be difficult, but hopefully very rewarding. I hope you both feel that you need to do what's best for you.
