  • Context: Ezra of Vampire Weekend hosts a bi-weekly radio show where he and his co-host Jake Longstreth (American painter and internet radio personality), along with Nick Weidenfeld and Seinfeld2000, discuss a wide variety of topics such as "politics, corporate food history, 1970s rock music, city living, frequently analyzing the latest in contemporary pop music by contrasting it with music released in another era", and celebrity forklift certification.
Since 2019 there has been a good-natured running joke on the show about acting as if BTS, the Korean idol group and 21st century pop icons, are one and the same with Built To Spill, a 90s indie rock band from Boise, Idaho, which was formed by Doug Martsch - and vice versa.
This eventually led the Crℹ️sℹ️s Crew to envision a dramatic remake of the movie Freaky Friday starring the members of BTS and Built to Spill, wherein they have to deal with each other's respective bands, Doug Martsch (as V or Jung Kook) attempts to return to Boise from Korea to reunite with his son, and BTS enjoy hiking in Idaho.
