When I watch this videos, I just realized how difficult and dangerous the ice skating, but when I watch them in a final performances, they look like a swan's swimming and flocking their wings, so beautiful.
Felt so sorry for the young woman who had an unusually bad day on the ice and was in tears. Her companion was so sweet in consoling her. Beautiful to see such compassion as no doubt the crowd felt for her as well. Hope she bounced back with better days and renewed confidence.
@@melinaguayo If you’re looking at the blonde skater in tears, that would be U.S. pairs skaters Alexa and Chris Knierim. Chris has since retired and Alexa continues skating with a new partner, Brandon Frazier, and together they have won medals. Chris is their coach and is still Alexa’s husband. 🙂

И для меня неприемлемы пожелания тех болельщиков, которые пишут, либо выкрикивают на трибунах пожелания типа" УПАДИ!" фигуристам, за которых они не болеют.По моему мнению- это ненастоящие болельщики, зрители и поклонники изумительно прекрасного, зрелищного, захватывающего вида спорта- ФИГУРНОЕ КАТАНИЕ!
Согласна. Для меня падения любых фигуристов отзываются болью, потому что это так травматично... Особенно, когда выброс партнерши с падением, и она летит на лед сверху в своем платьице... Очень сочувствую!
Меня тоже такое поведение шокирует. Не важно, за кого болеешь, уважать нужно всех. Все спортсмены тратят кучу сил, времени, здоровья на выполнение каждого элемента.

Oh my…. I hate it when they fall. The men throw the women much too fast. The men need to practice turning while holding the women and as they complete the turn the women are thrown. I seen the success of Yannick and Vanessa do this. Much success in the future. I truly enjoy figure skating and with pairs.🌱
Cuz they have more weights and they don’t need to jump that high, also they are not the one who are thrown out I think the throws are dangerous. It’s already hard to balance when you jump and spin alone, not to say someone put other forces on you 😢😢

I am amazed at how quickly these gals get up and carry on so beautifully after what looks like a hard fall at high speed. Big ouch. 😥

How do you know the partners don't care? They are trying in the middle of a performance and have to carry on.
