Albie is an axolotl! (US pronounciation is generally Ax-o-lot-le) They are a type of salamander that never leaves their juvenile phase which means they are fully aquatic! The fuzzy parts of Albie are his gills! Axolotls are endemic to one river/lake in Mexico and are endangered. They have become increasingly popular in the pet trade in recent years. Unfortunately we can’t release domestic axolotls back into the wild because they don’t have a large enough genetic diversity to thrive and would compete with native axolotls for food. They sure are cute though! You should look them up if you’re interested! They don’t come in Orange but they do come in gold which is a very pretty marigold color.

Mini brands are also really expensive here sadly but my boyfriend was resently in California and when he came back to Norway he brought all of the mini brands we dont have here, it felt like Christmas and birthday at the same time when i opened them☺️.
