LOL That's funny that you mentioned people liking your calm voice. I have the patience of a gnat and rarely ever watch a video longer than six minutes, but here I am, half way through your video and still enjoying it! I love the calmness, your soothing voice, and just watching you taking your time while creating. Everyone always seems to be in such a hurry when they make things. One thing I really loved was when you accidently marked on your cut out, and instead of getting upset, you just turned it over and stamped on the other side! LOL That was awesome. Not even one cuss word! XD

Just now watching this and my answer to "What do you do when Im Crafting?" well that depends on the mood. Some times l like the slience, some times i have crafty vids playing on the back ground.

Your videos are perfect. No background music, no rush, smooth and relaxed voice. And the longer your videos, the better. I normally light a scented candle, no music, only silence. Complete calm. My space, my world
I could watch your videos all day your so talented and creative! I saw one of your videos where you shared your craft space saying how it's not the space or all the gadgets but making what you have work for you.
I don't have a craft space now as im in a small apartment but I'm moving down south to Georgia in January where i will have a craft room so i have started buying some of the thing's in your video so im all set when im moved.
Anyways i just want you to know your videos and knowelege does not go unappreciated.
I usually like to have music playing in the background. Crafting and music soothe my soul. Have a cute little saying framed in my office/craft room, "Crafting each day keeps the crazies away."

I love this. I have those pinking and different shaped scissors. I was going to give them away. I have tons of embellishments, but until now I’ve felt I had to buy everything. It would really help to have a video on using washi tape to create cards. Thank you!
I love that you show great ways to use scraps. I struggle with them. What I love even more is that you keep reminding us to enjoy the process. That’s the best part for me. Most crafters are fast, to the point and crank out tons. My favorite part of crafting is enjoying it, savoring the process too. Thanks so much for reminding of why I do it.

Hi ... love this idea of using up scraps, Thank you for sharing this with us, guess I won't be throwing so many bits out now! lol! It will be so handy to have ready made elements to hand! Can I just give you a little tip, with regards to running a pen around the edges, I found doing it the way you did, I always, but ALWAYS slip and mark the sentiment or whatever I am edging, so ..... I now do it from the back instead so any slips won't be showing on the front .... no extra work to do! Works a treat! :) Thanks again for your always very helpful videos ... I always enjoy them!

As I was watching you cut the papers, it is amazing that you don't need to use a trimmer. If I just used scissors as you are doing it old be a hot mess. I can never cut a straight line. You made some nice things out of scraps. Something we all have so much of.

Yeah , the only thing I learn from people that scream is how far away from them I want to get. You are so laid back it is pleasant to watch you for hours. Waaaay better than watching the news. I turned off my TV three years ago. I do not miss it. And I get a lot of crafting done.

I find that if I put the border on a piece from the back side, if I make a slip like what happened with the bird piece, all I do is mess up the back of it. Because I always make slips like that. Such a lovely sentiment!

I must be the odd ball, because when I am making my cards, I like quiet. I don't t watch TV during the day and only Baseball at night, don't listen to music, just like it quiet. Please show us how you make your cards with the card embellishments that you made.

I don't remember if I viewed this video before. I like to listen to music when I'm crafting. I have a hard time planning my projects. I just wing it. I'll make cut outs or embellishments. But when it comes time to use them, I can't find what I want. So, I end up making them again. I've got to find clear storage containers. Out of sight out of mind.

I like to have your videos going when I'm playing with my "stuff". Also- I'm so jealous of your talent to cut straight lines! I try and try but rarely do I get a straight cut - it's always wonky. I'd love to see you make these into cards. When I craft I love playing retro seasonal video like movies, TV, kid's programming or old time radio (via youtube). I choose according to the season or the holiday. I really enjoy listening to classic Disney movies and music. An example for an old movie in the summer would be State Fair or Oklahoma. After Thanksgiving I love listening to the kids classics like Rudolph and Frosty the Snowman and A Charlie Brown Christmas or How the Grinch Stole Christmas. In the fall I always have to listen to Peanuts The Great Pumpkin and the Thanksgiving episodes.
I also would love to see cards made with these lovely scrap projects. I appreciate your voice and no loud music in your videos, very relaxing ! You are so talented and inspiring!
I like having TH-cam playing with other crafters like yourself, it helps inspire me and I may pick up a few pointers in the process.
I so love your video, I have so much scrap scrapbook papers, card stock etc. I dont have scallop sissors but im gonna get some for sure. I never use sequins. I always thought what would I need them for. I normally just use bling dots. You have changed my mind!! I love the look of them! Cant wait to start doing this with my scraps...also my routine is yes, I normally have a drink and I have a plug in candle with 80s music in my BT headphones. 😊💖💖

Hello all, I don't know if anyone has thought of this. I am new at gift tags and card making as of yesterday, but I do decorate my Happy planner. To give that 3D effect I went to my recycle bin and grabbed some white styrofoam from some meat that I purchased at the store today. Washed it up and cut it in little pieces and some crafters tape and stuck it to flowers for a card....of course this is a thought after I purchased some mounting tape on amazon....lol
I was just thinking to myself how much I love your voice when you mentioned that others have said that too! So calm and soothing! There are not that many people with a voice like yours! I could listen to you all day! lol This makes me want to go dig in my stash and play but I would be up all night if I started that now. Thanks for this great video!
So beautiful I was about to begin making some cards two days ago from all the small paper stash we end up with, and I just don’t throw them away I use every single bit....guess what? Yesterday while waiting for mom at the dentist I decided to walk around and ended up in a kiosk that’s been in that mall for years and ended up talking to the owner quite some time and ended up showing her the mini books and mini junk journals I make, cards, and other crafts and she asked me, “why don’t you make & pack some cards and other of your crafts and I’ll sell them here for you?” So this weekend I’ll be making some and let her sell them for me🌸I’m so happy about it🌸. I love the sax so I listen to Jazz music. Learned about Dr. Sax Love from a cooking youtube channel. I would love to see how you use these for cards. I have a lot of scrapbook supplies and materials and want to transition into cards. I have no stamps. What stamps to you recommend starting with first? There is a new Hobby Lobby going up right around the corner from me. I can't wait until it is built.

I noticed your scalloped ✂️ were catching a bit and you had to dig paper out of the same spot. I wonder if you need to sharpen them by cutting aluminum foil. Just fold the foil and cut it like 6 times. I love your voice I usually watch you at night so i can crash easier. Thank you for being such a cool calm spiritual lady. May God bless you. I make faux postage stamps with little pieces of cards.
*I square them off.
*I use pinking shears all around the card.
I'll find magazine pictures to git the card, glue them in.
*I'll add a stamp amount to it.
Right now I'm crocheting while watching your videos, so I guess while crafting I watch youtube videos to keep me inspired!

I'm just getting started in paper crafting during this pandemic, so these would be nice to send out or when I delivery a goodie bag to those who are shut-ins. Great use of leftover paper-nothing gets discarded and such simple ways you have created beautiful items, I'm subscribing to this channel but can you also show the types of inks you use, the scissors, the creative words and all the stuff to create these little gems? It's so cute, on that one you showed us with the yellow cs/white polka dots, how when you put the border of black tildes/dots that along the top side the dots are inside of the polka dots and look like little pairs of eyes looking down at the center design. How adorable is that!!! :D They are just perfect, with the "eyes" at the corners are looking inward and down and as they get toward the center, they're looking downward.

I forget to use my specialty scissors. I have trouble cutting straight with them though. Any suggestions? I like it totally quiet when I create. I guess I should try the tape runners that someone gave me. For some reason I do not trust them the way that I trust my craft glue. I would like to try the glitter glue, but I can get the craft glue for so much less money.
