is it legal to sell film/game sample beats?

It’s up to a label/artist to clear a sample as long as you let them know one was used. Majority of the time the original sample is manipulated so much it’s unrecognisable anyway. Unless it’s a hit record, it’s not something to worry about, at least to me anyway.
People will disagree with it but my opinion is just make the music then cross that bridge later if it’s an issue, if a song is doing well it’s gonna get cleared
