@@evandaymon8303 facts. Murderface’s parents were so disgusted by his appearance as a baby, they drove themselves to murder/suicide. Skwisgaar doesn’t even know who his real dad is because his mom slept with so many men. Pickles’s parents outright don’t acknowledge his existence and puts his brother on a pedestal and Toki’s parents just straight up tortured him as a child.
The interesting thing here is that Pickles’ reaction and dialogue to Murderface favoring Skwisgaar is *very* specific to his childhood and upbringing. Pickles lived in the shadow of his brother; got less praise, constantly being compared to, always took the blame, and generally got less attention. Pickles then went through a rebellious stage- including drinking alcohol- to get *any* kind of attention from his parents. So when Pickles says to Murderface “punish me”, and is jealous of the attention Skwisgaar gets, it’s not only because of old wounds reopening, but also because he’s *actively* reliving his childhood
and that's what makes it so fucked up and oddly heartwarming when Murderface says his trigger phrase and Pickles beats him up. In a fucked up dysfunctional way, Murderface finally gives Pickles closure and the ability to resolve his childhood trauma.
Every time I see young versions of Dethklok (YoungKlok?), all I can think is "I could have been such a good parent to these sweet kids", I'm so sad they went through whatever they went through
Omg same. My group mates were from divorced families. I happened to be one of few people with actually good and caring dad😌my dad’s amazing. We always visit theatres, museums, restaurants, exhibitions together and talk about a lot of stuff😄😁
Murderface trying to do something nice for Skwisgaar and Pickles just has to butt in and make it all about him. He really does belong in a garbage can.
I love how quickly Toki jumps in to beat Murderface. Abuse survivors, sticking together.
We love to see it!
"FINISH HIMS OFF!"
It's moments like that where you see Toki's arms are remember just how ripped he is. Must punch like a truck
@@garrethatch5362 didn't toki beat a guy to death for screaming in his ear? and it was like full blown skull crunching whooping
Yep, Swishgar keeps Toki down for he knows the true strength and skill of Toki
I love how casual and specific his trauma phrase is.
“You belong in a garbage can!”
It’s the kinda thing a shit dad might actually say on the fly
was thrown into small garbage can by abusive father, can confirm it’s something they do.
(edit: i was being totally serious btw.)
I mean it's not the phrase that's super terrible but I think it's the fact that he said it knowing it might be the last thing he ever said to Pickles
and the midwestern accent. "youuu belong in a garbeedge keeeean"
Crazy how Nathan, the most brutal member of the band, has the healthiest relationship with his father.
Like he said his dad is fucking awesome.
He may get annoyed by them but he truly love his family unlike rest of the band

I love that Nathan's dad shows up to Mordhaüs just to play Scrabble
Yea!
Wouldn’t you?
Damn poor pickle, he just wants a dads
I think he needs to talk to a therapist. Or beat up his dad. Both, probably.
Yeah wells Toki gots no dads too! maybe someone takes him to the park sometimes too
Yeas, I agress! Nathans should takes him!
I like the way he says "father".
"And I always regretted not staying there, and beating the living shit out of my fÆther."
And "Garbage can", gerbaege kaan
The North Midwest accent
I love the super intense close-ups of teenage Pickles and his dad 😂
I love how Nathan get tired and he just bitch slap to his band mates, the only one with a normal and happy relation with his father.

I never made that connection. The writing in this show is genius sometimes
Good catch Dr. Phil

I f*guitarriff*ing lost it at that final beatdown. Totally stealing those moves.
Toki had the stance of a Street Fighter or something.
@@lukatesseract
He would fit right in on 2-D browser brawler.
I'll bet Toki knows Muay Thai or something due to that stance.
it called a hockey punch and it is pretty effective
LMAO, Toki has no hesitation in beating up Murderface! XD
Love it when Toki's muscles show when he squares up
“I’m having a man to man talk with my strong and brave little soldier here.”
"Yew beelang en eh gerbege ceeyun."
this shit is still funny 10 years later wow
0:40 give this adorable man a hug and take him to the park also
That's some real hockey fightin' there. That must've been therapeutic....especially since it's Murderface....
Pickle and Toki broship is the best
I can totally understand Toki. I didn’t have the greatest relationship with my dad and I found my dad dead
0:21 when I was 18 this exact moment happened with my mates whey talked about their loser/scumbag dads.
.......love my dad, he's awesome.
My dad took one look at me when I was a baby and scarpered. I hate him. So I can totally relate to Pickles here.

I love the "bwoooo" noise so much.

Leave it to Murderface to Trigger Pickles like that.
1:18 I also love this because it implies he was stalking them all day lmao
Cuz He’s Envious?
Pickles damnit I'm gonna count to 3!
I know it would be awful to say "you belong in a garbage can" to a kid or anyone...but godamn, it's a funny ass line 🤣
Pickle just wanted a father figure poor guy
This whole episode was great
I was down but now I am happy. Thanks Brendan!
I'm very brave. And very strong too, I mean...
I want that murderface mug
this was a good episode.

How did Murderface go from daddy to Pickles being the mom
Nathan and his dad has the same relationship Nic Cage and his son have
Not me being The Nathan when it comes to compare fathers lol
fatherklok felt so personal help

Fuckin love my dad~ *montage of wholesome stuffs*
they both toki and pickles just wanted to have time with his father (murderface)
I love this one ....untel
Isn't Pickles the oldest member of the band?
I...don't think so...? I read somewhere that Murderface is the oldest...? I don't know. Their age was never mentioned in the show.
he actually is iirc, he was grown man in the 80s

Why is the music so much louder than the voices?
That's my question too can't even hear the voices at this point
This is the metal experience dude
Cuz It’s The Uncensored Version
