I'm glad you've played Dread. If you really want to get your feet wet with the genre, please play Super Metroid. I know it came out before you were born, I get it, it's old. If you like games and especially if you are interested in this genre, Super Metroid is required material. It was far ahead of its time, which is why it defined a genre.
