I love long guard!!!11, really good video and really good gameplay of long guard. Delaying m2, backdash baiting to m1/m2, and pressuring m1's. Really good showcase of how the style should be played. I feel people don't see the strength of long guard because they forget it's literal main feature it has mad range, and using it to your advantage confuses your opponent.
ive been riding with long guard since before slugger and corkscrew, moment i started playing i was vouchingg for long guard. knew i was just ahead of my time 🥶 (not actually, but im happy long guard is actually being taken seriously. just sucks that it might be overused soon then ill feel a little icky using meta)
I found the potential of long guard when fighting ghost mains back before it was nerfed, if you time it right your jabs are fast enough to counter a ghost. This is something not much styles can do, and ever since I've been using long guard
idk if this will work on some other people but i always fight with counter i dont throw punches i go near and when they punch i dash back and forward and get a hit on them i basically won all of my matches vs counters by using my strat
Game used to be skill based and using ur fast reflexes to dodge when the enemy turn red now the game is just a guessing when to dodge simulator cuz when u dodge when enemy turn red i get hit by a punch in the middle of my dash which cancels my dash making me a punching bsg since i can't run away its also hard to see the right heavy attack of the enemy cuz my character is covering half of the enemy's body
Try the performance stats trick to know when you need to ult, for ippo just get it below the line, for the other styles Try going like a bit lower than the line, its a guaranteed death
imo counter because if you dont do what the kid in the video did (spam m2 and didnt play with a brain) you can straight counter long's m1 timed right chopping away at its hp, like the second you see a highlight you m1

ghost basically doesnt have a nerf anymore because of the update where the speed goes faster. Even if you block the first m1, unless you also have something in similar speed, they can just hit u again.
As a Filipino I cannot wait for the Manny Pacquiao style Dawgs was just an average Filipino always on the streets and working hard and now he's a really popular boxer which is what makes me a huge fan of him

@@Michael-ms6fx Hawk: High damage and even higher counter damage, but the weak blockbar is a problem. Also, Hawk seems to ALSO RECEIVE counter damage(im not honestly sure). Hawk is a good style, but requires ALOT of skill and fully depends on the user's dodging capabilities(reflexes).
I think Ippo and ghost are the best styles in the game rn if your pretty good with these two styles u could be unstoppable sometimes
