You're doing great man, I haven't watched your other videos yet but this one definitely shows that you don't suck. One slight critique I had, and maybe this is a me thing, was the camera frame changing in the first half of the video is a little distracting. The frame that starts at 1:15 is the most visually appealing (to me), there are no real distractions, and you seem to fit in the frame better. Though I do like the slight comedic zoom ins!
I just found your channel and can already say, I love it. You're so down to earth and articulate. Your microphone quality is fantastic, and despite not having a script, the pacing of the video is smooth and on point. I'm a very young beginner guitar player so I don't know what it's like to be in your shoes, but the most important thing I've learned, besides all the chords and scales and whatnot, is that you need to want to progress. If you don't enjoy playing, guitar probably isn't for you. You clearly have that passion for playing, and though learning is going to be slower for someone a little older, if you keep your positive attitude, you're gonna do great. You mentioned in the intro that you used to play guitar; to that I ask, do you still remember the chord shapes and progressions from then or are you starting totally clean? The way I started was by first learning all the chords (-barre chords at first because they're miserable) then some scales, and then the whole fretboard (circle of fifths, and a bunch of theory), so maybe a kind of progressive learning path could help? There's still so much I need to learn, but I love every second of it. P.S - I'm sure you're aware, but there are tons of resources on youtube that will undoubtedly help you in learning! Some folks I've found are: Marty Schwartz - the OG; he's got breakdowns of songs as well as a good beginner guitar series to help you learn scales and chords MT Guitar - This guy is awesome, he is a mainly finger style acoustic teacher who does breakdowns of songs Creative Guitar Studio - Practicing tips as well as more in depth breakdowns of scales and general music theory
Thanks! I don't remember a whole from 30 years ago lol. I remembered Smells like Teen Spirit, and a few riffs from Slayer songs. Some of the chord shapes look familiar but basically I am starting from square one.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, I just had to cut out some dead spots lol.
