I'll bet the pitch for this went something like "Hey, let's virtually ignore the fact that the Barossa Valley produces some of the world's finest food & wine, and instead show slaughtered animals, weirdos wandering through fields looking crazy or writhing around in the dirt, lots of creepy crawly bugs, and make almost every wide shot of the scenery appear dry, uninviting & ugly as hell, and top it all off by setting it to a song most people from overseas would recall from the Scream films!"
