  • Nearly every pipe manufactured by McWane Ductile comes lined with cement to ensure its longevity over decades of service. When installed, the lining may become damaged through rough pipe handling, required field cuts, or other unforeseen events. No need to worry! Damaged cement lining in Ductile iron pipe is easily repaired. A few basic tools, a small amount of NSF-approved cement, and some brush-on topcoat are all you need. In this video Jeff Houser takes you through the process step by step, shows you the tools to use, and explains where to find the right materials to complete the repair correctly.

If you were good you would have cut a straight edge before doing the repairs. Its a lot cheaper to buy a roll of plastic cut a little piece and apply tape!
