I ordered this and I am excited to try it out. I always have hated the feel of barbell squats and the loading on my spine. Hoping this is my long sought answer.
Just got mine… its amazing… tired it with 32” bands, kind of difficult to attach, not sure if i lengthened them enough, is there a video showing how to properly lengthen and shorten the hooks? Thanks in advance.
I'm looking into this belt because I have a disc herniation and it looks like this belt may take pressure off the spine and transfer it to the pelvic area. Is this the case?
Yes! The belt was designed to reduce strain on the lower back when doing banded split squats, but of course please check with your doctor and/or physiotherapist beforehand
Got mine yesterday and it is an impressive and well build piece of equipment. Unfortunately for me, elastics aggravate a disc injury I've had for decades so it is not the right fit for everyone. Anyone looking into this, make sure your back agrees with bands. I can only do horizontal push/pull. Nothing under my feet as it compresses my lower back too much.
Hey great to hear you think the belt is high quality. Can you please email support@vectorathletics.fit to discuss how you can best use the belt and also any improvements we can make on our end.
I ordered mine about a week ago. I can’t wait to get it.
Great and quick tutorial, I just ordered this belt and a set of VA grips after watching a review by Mike @SlidingBenchTrainer
