Very useful within treehouse building as well given you want level attachment points but nothing about your “foundations” are level and you need to go non-line-of-sight.

Water level. Most accurate you can get, IF you know how to use it!!! I used windshield wiper fluid so it doesn't freeze up in the winter.

Water level, and the liquid is either water with dyed or windshield wiper fluid or could use antifreeze but you need to be careful of spills because it will harm or even kill pets.

I used a water level building my shop. If you use a plumb bob on the columns you can get the top exactly where they're supposed to be. The red iron building kits need come alongs or ratchet straps to align everything. That's why I prefer to weld up the building like you guys do.

We used water levels to level our mobile home installations! Now we always used unsweetened kool aid red or blue because it wouldn’t call ants and if it spilled on the ground and an animal got into it it would not hurt them. I don’t know how you could build anything that large and not use a water level it only makes sense.
