When I went to Ottawa on my grade 8 trip we came to this jail and when we finished the tour I remember going to a very haunted area right at the exit of the jail (this was a few years ago but I'm pretty it was near the end of the tour) and my friends nose just started gushing blood. This place is definitely haunted!!!
story time (this is a real story btw) 3 dooshbag's boy's that were friends they somehow knew where a innocent guy that was framed for murder in 1869 that was hung they knew where he was burried, and started stomping and laughing on the guys grave then they all froze and 2 secs later all of there nose starts bleeding at the same time (sorry im bad at explaining but heres something else..the guys wife asked for him to be burried in their backyard the police said yes...if you were lucky enough when they drop there neck would break and immeadietly die or u live but choke to death.....when it was time for this mans exacution he was unlucky this man was hung and suffering and choking to death for sevreal minutes..before he was hung they tied his feet and arms behind his back and then put a bag over his head. (btw "this man's" name is patrick james whelan again sorry im bad at explaining edit:(i forgot 1 thing) the wife of patrick asked if he can be burried in their backyard the police said yes but after he was hung they decided not to and burried him somewhere under the prison

Stayed there almost 25 years ago on a Scouting trip with some of my friends and brother and we DEFINITELY saw a ghost in the death row section. We were probably 13 years old or so. Very cool experience.
Nice! That was very interesting and informative. The ghost stories makes the former prison a hostile hostel. I would stay there because I’m ain’t afraid of no ghost....Ghostbusters!! 👻🇨🇦
I’m a scaredy cat so this would be a big nope for me. I do not like ghostly situations so I wouldn’t be hanging with Scooby and the gang at the ol’ hostel!

Romina, if you plan on checking out any cool abandoned jails.... i highly recommend mansfield reformatory in mansfield. ohio, old licking county jail in newark ohio, west virginia penientary in moundsville and obviously alcatraz in san francisco

I'm here my last day in this place it was super interested. I saw my room in your video they put me on room 619. We share the same floor. I did the tour.
I thought it was fine. I don’t mind small spaces, but I prefer more space and wide open empty things for living in. If I was in there for more than a few nights, I’m not sure how much I’d like it. Might feel crammed with all of my things. But that’s because of me and not because of the rooms themselves. I just like huge open spaces for everything. But these cells were super cozy!!!
It is entertaining because it’s gone from a dark place to a light place full of fun times and happiness, or it’s just a cheap place to sleep for the night. 😉😅 thanks for watching! 🖖

Maybe it was because, your friend had a high blood pressure. And he was very scared. So maybe that’s it.

All of the cells that are rooms have been converted. I think they’ve also safeguarded the other cells
