We've had snow and cold here in Va too. Its supposed to be in the 60s today so the snow is melting. Thank goodness. Hate that youve had water problems. 😊
Sorry to hear about your pluming situation 😢 here in the UK we always have burst pipes when it freezes I think the pipes expand with the ice, hopefully the cold spell will pass over soon and things get back to normal 🇬🇧
Here in east Tennessee we got 7 inches of snow and was in the house for close to a week. One morning I was up early and it was -2. Yesterday it was 68 and today it's raining. Tucker looked so cute and comfy laying in the pile of bed sheets or clothes❤
Wish we could get some snow down here in NC. It's been in the 60's this week and now in the 50's with yucky rain.
It's colder in your area than it is here in Delaware. We were in the 20s and had snow. We were back up to the 40s today.

Hello Jessi! I have the same knit blanket on the end of my bed. I love it and I treat it like royalty. I’m fearful my dog will sneak on our bed and snag it, she has before.😠
I got the king size for my Cali king bed but honestly I think a queen would have been a better choice.

I always love watching your videos.
My mom elderly mom who has been held up alone in her apartment. During the start of winter, she got strapped throat as well. And we didn't know how she got it. I think that it's just an airborne thing and it just happens. And then she got COVID and the flu and then myself and my son. A couple of weeks got COVID and the flu. And I mean it was horrible horrible. I don't wish that on anyone. It was so bad now. I'm just trying to get my strength back. I had to go and clean a couple of clients homes back to bact one on Sunday and 1 on Monday and it wore me completely out.
I hope we avoid major illness this year. The past couple we’ve been really sick over the Holidays! Feel better soon!

How do you like that tub scrubber brush? Is it the one from Scotch I'm debating on getting it. I have the Clorox one and it swivels and doesn't look very well so annoying lol

okay literally we’ve been in our place for 3 years and suddenly we had a leak from our ceiling and our bathroom had to be reno’d and my daughters room the wall started growing black mould so that needs to be reno’d (she’s been sharing with her brother) and our washer broke and had to be replaced and our oven needed a part replaced because it wouldn’t heat up!! all within the span of 3 weeks LOL
Oh my god! Girl it happens like that I swear! Home ownership is great and stressful 🤣
So sorry to hear about your busted pipe. Not the fun part of being a home owner. We have had 9 inches of snow and ice too. We have been snowed in since the 15th and just today able to get out. My kids have been out of school since the 12th because they got out that day for strong winds. It has been a winter for sure in TN!

Sorry to hear about your plumbing woes. However, it’s extremely relatable. Most people on YT all have these brand new houses and only live in them a couple of years before they build another new one so they never live in a house long enough to experience the aging of a home. As someone who has always lived in Montana, -15 is cold. We may get to -30 to -50, but once you're down that far there isn't much difference. We also have a dry cold here which is much easier to take.

I know you don't want to talk about the mold but you should conduct, cutting that plywood out, treating whatever mold is back there paint it with moodresistant paint and then replacing the plywood. I have asthma and a sensitivity to sunlight due to mold exposure. Think of it as self-care.
Girl, I have a 45 minute drive for work and I'll be singing loud and at the stop lights car seat dancing, lol. I get some strange looks. But life is short, if that makes you happy, sing it loud.😊

Hi Jessica! It’s been sooooo cold here & we were having to drip our water here to keep our pipes from bursting. Had an ice storm yesterday & luckily today it’s supposed to get up in the 40’s. I’ve just stayed in & deep cleaned since it’s been so cold. Another great motivation video

Hey Jessica! Thanks for the motivation! Got some chores done as I've been listening. The snow looks beautiful! I am on the TN state line on the Alabama side. We had 4" of ice for a week. Thankfully got out today to restock and take the kiddos back to school since it was closed.
Ice is the worst! We always have at least one ice storm here so I’m sure that’s coming 🫣

It’s warmer here ALOT but raining a ton!
It has been so cold here in West Virginia! We lost power for 8 hours last week it was -8 and the whole county lost power in the middle of the night luckily we heat with wood and oil so we didn’t freeze 🥶 It’s just been miserable had no school and delays ! I’m ready for spring !!!

I am so sorry you had a burst faucet. Down here in Hendersonville we had the same thing happen. The tub and shower faucets burst in our master. For some reason we don’t have a water turn off in the house. Our neighbor has a tool that can turn the water off in the front yard. Whew! The plumber came out but did not have the parts. He isn’t coming back until this Thursday. We have to use our son’s shower until then. I think spring is about eight weeks away.
We take water and hot showers for granted! I hope it’s all fixed asap and doesn’t happen again!
