I got this idea from a Hollywood star. All my friends immediately fell in love with this bag

  • Knitted bags are increasingly gaining popularity. But the question arises: what to knit from?
Cords, ropes, cotton threads and even strips cut from plastic bags will do. You can also use leftover yarn. I really like the pattern called “granny square”, which looks like patchwork.
There are a huge number of schemes for such a square. They can be openwork or not very openwork, double crochet, with the addition of other loops. On the Internet you can choose any one you like.
You can knit sweaters, vests, blankets, pillows, baskets, bedspreads, rugs and much more with this pattern. Things made from them turn out to be homemade and especially cozy.
This technique is simply heaven for those who love to combine. How many combinations can you come up with, ranging from one color to a variegated variety.
    - To create my square, I used double crochets, which I knitted separately and knitted 3 together. To make the corners straight, you need to knit 2 bundles through 2 air loops at the turn. In general, it depends on the scheme, which can be changed.
    - At the base of my bag are two large squares 30x30 cm.
    - The side placket consists of small squares and knitted stripes. I connected all the parts together with a single crochet braid.
    - I tied the bag with waves on top.
    - Inside there is a lining, which I sewed according to the shape of the bag and sewed it on by hand. The fabric should be stiff or the interlining should be ironed to keep its shape. Inserts made of felt or construction insulation, which comes with or without foil, are also suitable. This material is porous, lightweight and does not fall off.
    - My bag has a long knitted handle over the shoulder; I used metal fittings for fastening.
    - The other two handles are bamboo, but others will do.
This way you can fold the parts differently. Squares are versatile and very beautiful.
