unfortunately new appliances are more expensive to buy spare parts and have it fixed. Appliances nowadays are not build to last unlike before and manufacturers do it on purpose.

From Australia. thank you for this post. It has encouraged me to remove everything that is either, broken, no longer needed or maybe i can even pass it on to someone else. I understand that now by removing everything that is broken or unused I will get closer to being a "minimalist' as I feel suffocated with all these things around me. I don't want or need them anymore to be happy.

@@Honeyjubu Sometimes, it's not feasible to repair an old appliance. For instance, same appliances start consuming more energy after a malfunction, even if it does get fixed.
It is the right thing to give your husband a whole meal cooked with love, not leftovers like giving to your dog. If he is working to provide for his wife and kids, looking after them, he deserves it.

Having them come remove broken appliances must have felt good. Here, in the USA, there was an annual disposal event where we could bring our outdated, broken or unused appliances. Not sure if it’s still going on. “Plogging” looks like a great idea and so easy.

My house is big and in a country with lots of dust. My husband and I work a lot in the garden and being dirt in. I love how clean and efficient you are. I clean all the time but you would never know it.

The amount of respect the person picking up the appliances has for your home is wonderful. They only had to take a half step out of your entryway and still removed shoes to do so. In America service people do not remove shoes when entering your home, but I wish they would 😔

넓은 아일랜드 식탁이 있는 넓은 주방이 있어야 제대로 요리할 수 있다고 착각하는 많은 사람들에게 깨우침을 주네요. 요즘 아파트구조에서 보면 좁다고 느낄 수 있는 주방이 이제까지 영상을 보며 전혀 그렇게 느껴지지 않았습니다. 중요한 건 정리와 사람이라는 걸 느끼게 됩니다.
그러면서도 예쁘고 소중한 것들(풍성한 음식 장만, 꽃, 예쁜 주방도구들 등등)에는 아끼지 않는 모습이 또 좋습니다.

Quería preguntar ¿Ha escuchado sobre la lejía de ceniza? Técnicamente se podría decir que es uno de los primeros jabones de la historia. Además de ser ecológico es muy bueno para limpiar ya sea la ropa, los platos, el suelo de la casa y demás. Entre las razones por las que me parece una muy buena alternativa está el hecho de que elimina la salmonela y obvio se le da otra vida útil a la ceniza✨
