Still living the life - Love the Travel log and Venice - the experience your having, immense - your doing what you should be doing (your in the moment) - Everybody is in a bubble, just be kind an d empathetic - and a little opinionated is not a bad thing (as long as your open to other's views). Have a wonderful time in Paris + Nolan - may be he can get a baret to add to his fedora. 🫂🗺🎆🥂
I was stationed in Aviano from 81 thru 84 in my second of 3 assignments in Italy Total 21 years as civilian too, HOWEVER I haven't been back since 1989. I'm basically a foreigner again. I will stop in Aviano for two days as I'm arriving 5 may for 3 weeks. I don't know anybody there except for maybe my landlady in Marsure. Via Scussat #16. I'm 66 you and hopefully she's still living. Maybe in her 70s. Half serious when say visit her and tell her that I'm coming to say hi. Mention Alex from 81-84 who was was married to a Korean. If she lives there she will remember. Again, this is a half hearted request.
Thank you for your service I haven't spent too much time in Marsure yet but hope I get a chance to run into your Landlady. Hope you get to reconnect with her and have a wonderful time back in Aviano. I wonder how different it is since you've been in Italy.
@@maryraymallory I'll find out but by just looking at videos they have added roads, replaced, new buildings. The center looks somewhat same but all else is unrecognizable. The Euro did not exist as it was the Italian Lire. My house in Marsure looks better. I found it on street view thru Google maps.
@@maryraymallory was at Aviano for 2 days. Took film and video of Piancavallo and Barcis ( amazing beauty). Stayed at base lodging.. was lucky for that. Now in Vicenza and going Florence, Bologna, Rimini, Perugia. Back to Vicenza and then Either the Dolomites above Aviano or Switzerland..making the best out of it. Take advantage of your stay in Europe. Took me a long time to come back.
awesome vlog.
Was stationed there 96-2000. Fire department first base. Enjoy it there.
