@@GreatDayForAHike Unfortunately the battery failed before I'd even used it. Should have had 4 blue lights but had only 3 then 2. Had seen other clips with this problem. I Liked it but battery was a small like AA and major mission to replace so had to return the gimbal.
That is unfortunate the battery failed. I have owned a lot of different brands of gimbals for my action cameras and mirrorless cameras and have found them to be hit or miss with quality control unfortunately.

The GoPro does ask for the Quik app during initial setup of the camera but that was not the question here. The question is “Do we need to have QUIK app on the phone in order for the gimbal to talk with GoPro camera?” The answer is the Quik app is not needed to use this gimbal with the GoPro.

Great video thank you. I am sure I have set everything up properly for my Gopro Hero 11 however when videoing and walking I still get the up/down motion. I have tried everything ... adjusted boost/hypersmoooth and video options linear etc but to no avail. Do you have any suggestions to eliminate the up/down motion using the Inkee and Gopro?
the instructions with the falcon plus are dismal, as you noted. but even after one day's shooting (without reading much of the manual in its teeny type) i found it to be a hell of a tool. your vid is heads above any other instructional material i found and it immediately helped expand my use of this gimbal with my gopro 12. one thing i will do immediately is get a set of allan key screwdrivers to work with this device and i recommend anyone using it to get some of the extended length gopro attachment screws. happy shooting.
Hey man i just received my inkee Falcon plus and noticed after balancing it well and that after turning it on it has a slight devation to the left. Its not nicely horizontal. Can i calibrate this somehow?
There is a way using the Inkee app to adjust some of these parameters manually. That may be worth a try. Also, if you film footage using this gimbal and still notice it has a bit of jitter or lack of smoothness you can use a free tool like Gyroflow to fix and get it really smooth.
Can you charge the GoPro while using the gimbal? If it can, then this seems to be a better bundle than GoPro own Creator Edition where the Volta is included. The gimbal will have less battery capacity but for the added gimbal movement, this is more attractive than pure long battery hours.
Unfortunately you cannot charge the GoPro while using this gimbal from this gimbal. There is a way you could charge the GoPro using an external battery pack attached to the gimbal handle but that can get a bit cumbersome. If the GoPro could be charged from the gimbal then yes, this would be a great alternative to Volta due to the stabilization properties.
How long have you had your Inkee gimbal? And is it still working. Ordered one, half of buttons did not work. Returned ordered another. Not all features worked on that either. Do you still have yours and is it still working?
I have had it for a bit over a year but I recently broke it unfortunately. The GoPro was fine but the gimbal broke after a hard impact. Before that it was working with the exception of not always consistently pairing with Bluetooth on the camera. That ended up being hit and miss.
Excellent setup guide Bud, My Inkee Plus is running fine in a GoPro 11 Hero Black; please show us how to balance a GuPro with media mod with an added led light or mic. I tried, but it did not work.

Yes, I believe it will make it too heavy/affect the weight balance a bit too much. Adding additional accessories like this will generally require a heavier duty gimbal.

I updated firmware 115 but unable to connect GoPro hero9 with gimbal. Need to switch on camera separately after the update it’s happening. Need solutions
You need to update the camera's firmware as well and also reset the connection by quickly press 8 times the power button. You can try it I think it will work!
Thanks for taking the time to make the two tutorials for the falcon plus. I have followed your clear instructions up to the pairing part as I am using a GoPro Hero 6 which has different modes to the GoPro 10. The falcon plus works fine, has a constant green light and controls my GoPro with all the buttons, I just can't get the GoPro to turn on with the falcon plus. Any help would be much appreciated.
I recommend making sure the Hero 6 is on the most recent firmware version for that camera and also make sure the Inkee Falcon is on the latest firmware.

Great video! I have a few questions about the Inkee Falcon Plus. As I am watching through TH-cam about some reviews regarding the Falcon Plus, they’ve mentioned that the gimbal can lift at least 200g of action camera. I am worrying about buying one because I am using a Gopro hero 9 + Ulanzi Case + Gopro Microphone Adapter, having a total weight of 210g. While the others are using Media Mod + other accessories. Can the Inkee Falcon plus lift a 210g go pro (including the said accessories) without having any complications?
Thank you! I would recommend sticking with 200g and below for the weight. Otherwise I expect this will cause premature failure of the motors on the gimbals or this could result in footage that is not adequately stabilized.
I have had this happen on a few occasions. I recommend you test out Pan Follow mode and Pan & Tilt Follow mode to see which one gives you the best results for this type of motion. You will likely find one of these works better than the other for you.
I have small question have you tryed this gimbal on gopro hero 11? I pair my hero 11 and it works but then after I power off and power back up I have no connection and have to pair all over again
The gimbal is very compact and ergonomic. It is easy to steam. The only problem is that after 2 months of use (only used for two several-day sessions) the battery dies and you don't know how to replace it.
Got GoPro 11 and Inkee Facon plus and paired. The Gimbal turns off the GoPro. However when I turn on the Gimbal, the GoPro doesn't turn on. What could be wrong?
Thanks for the video. I took delivery of my Flacon Plus today (bought through Amazon) but wonder if it is faulty. I went through the balancing procedure as you describe. I fully charged the unit first then having balanced, switched on. It too several goes to get the green light for the bluetooth but once I had that I switched on the GoPro and started to go through the Connection process but before I could really get into this the Falcon switched itself off. I have now tried this several times and each time I get the same result, it just won't stay switched on. Any thoughts? Thanks
Great review, I wish there was another 1/4"20 mounting screw on the gimbal handle so I could attach a mic or a light to the handle rather than have to change the set up and re-balance.
Yes, getting that initial Bluetooth connection between the gimbal and your GoPro is one of the buggiest features about this gimbal from my perspective.

I think you have to press the button on the gimbal 8 times rapidly. I believe it then shows a blue light at which point you can swipe on the connection menu on the GoPro to connect it.
Thank you so much for making this! I was getting so frustrated trying to set it up but your video walked me through it & I was able to get my gopro10 w/ media mod balanced 🙌🏻. Quick question - I saw someone was able to balance it with the media mod display but nothing I try is balancing. The other person did say it’s over the weight limit but they were still able to get it to balance/work. Have you tried that & if so, any tricks/tips for getting it to balance?
This is a great question and I have a tip to offer for this. So the GoPro Hero 10 weighs 153 grams and the Media Mod weighs 54 grams. Combined these weigh 207 grams which is technically just slightly over the 200 gram limit of the Inkee Falcon Plus. It’s close enough that this can still be balanced successfully but it can be challenging to do so. The Hero 10 battery weighs 33 grams. If you remove this from the Hero 10 and power the Hero 10 via the USB-C cable that connects to the Inkee Falcon built-in battery you then get the Hero 10 down to a weight of 174 grams. At 174 grams it is much easier to balance. I do recommend having the USB pass through door if doing this though so the GoPro battery door isn’t open. Hope this helps!

Thank goodness for this video!! My Falcon Plus was delivered today and I thought I could do a quick setup and then do a few test videos. The instructions aren't just "lacking", they are awful!! Between the confusing Quick Start card and the fold-out microscopic full instructions, I was lost. After a half hour of frustration, I just searched TH-cam for "inkee falcon plus" and yours was the first one that came up. I had watched several of your videos when I first got my Hero 11, so I was confident that you would make it simple for the setup, and you did. Got it working fine now, thanks to this video!!! Great job!!

I hold down the power button until it turns on. The green LED flashes. It doesn't stay lit. After being on for about 3-5 seconds it powers off. What's going on?
So I got this gimbal and am using my gopro hero 10 on it. I've noticed that when I started using it with the stabilization turned off so I can also use ND filters, my footage is crazy shaky. Even though everything looks good externally with the gimbal... I'm not sure if there's a setting I'm missing. These are very jerky shakes that I'm not making which makes no sense to me... it completely ruined a weekend worth of footage 🥺 I'm very confused lol
Does it seem like the motor is creating the shakiness? If so then you will likely want to use the Inkee Falcon app and run the calibration process. I had to do that on mine once when I had this issue. Also, if you’ve got the media mod attached as well, try removing the battery and connecting directly with the USB-C cable to the port on the gimbal to power it. This reduces the weight of the GoPro and Media mod combo to about 180 grams with the battery removed which may be significant enough to help the motors perform much better (I gave this tip to someone yesterday and it seemed to help). Also, your footage can still be salvageable if you use stabilization tools found in Adobe Premiere Pro (warp stabilizer) or in a free software tool such as VideoProc Vlogger. Hope these tips are helpful!

And I have noticed that the media mod is a bit on the heavy side, especially since I also have an external rhode wireless mic attached to it. I'll try all the tips you gave me. You’re welcome! The Inkee Falcon Plus is technically rated to support about 200g of weight and the Hero 10 with media mod, battery, and external mic will weigh a bit more than that. Removing the extra weight of the battery can help make this weight more manageable for the motors.

I have a problem: I am using the inkee falcon plus 3. Previously, I was using gopro 10 with it, and all functions worked fine. Now I switched to gopro 11. With that, connecting to the gimbal still works, and I can start and stop recordings. I can even switch both devices off by using the gimbal power button only. Problem: I cannot switch the gopro on with the gimbal - which I could with gopro 10. I have updated to the newest firmware on both devices. I had installed your falcon app, and gopro Quik on my mobile phone. Hope you can help. Thanks in advance
I haven’t seen yet that the GoPro Hero 11 is fully supported on this gimbal. I suspect Inkee may still be updating their gimbal to offer full Hero 11 support.
This question is for anyone that has the falcon plus: Would I also be able to use the gimbal with my smartphone if I had a smartphone to gopro mount adapter? I'd be more apt to buy it if it worked on both action cams and smartphones.
I would say probably not with most phones due to the weight limit of about 200g on the gimbal but if the smartphone is lighter than 200g then possibly.

I’ve noticed that when your in the PF MODE it looks a little slanted but as you change to FPV MODE it straightens out. Anyone else experiencing this? I’ve calibrated twice.
It’s a good setup guide in general, but as an Osmo owner, I’d advise to go find another video specific to that. It introduces issues that the GoPro doesn’t, such as the GoPro mount for Osmo standing it higher, and forget about any cages! I’d have looked for a different gimbal.
Tri pod feet are terrible one side was sent to me broken like it was opened too far, it’s a cheap plastic part so I definitely recommend getting a stronger metal part for replacement asap. Other than that I do like it 👍🏽
Thanks for the great tutorial. I received my Inkee Falcon Pro yesterday and very happy with it. Much easier to set up than the other gimbals I have tried. My only complaint is that I have to use the Allen key screw to mount the GoPro when using the Media Mod rather than a GoPro style thumbscrew. If you are only going to use the GoPro on the Falcon Plus, it is no problem but I also use the GoPro with the Media Mod on my motorcycle helmet. Having to used the Allen key screw is very inconvenient for switching from one to the other.
Good question. Two main reasons: 1. If you’re using ND filters. Hypersmooth doesn’t work well with ND filters on and usually results in unusable, super jittery footage. 2. If you’re filming in low light. Hypersmooth doesn’t work well in low light.
Yeah it’s mostly if you’re moving with the camera while also using an ND filter or in low light. When moving without stabilization the footage becomes unusable due to it being so shaky. This is where a gimbal helps meet the need.
Hi everyone :() I'm getting the flashing green light never the solid one:( tried at least 20 times and I'm ready to go off :( no matter what I'm doing . What can I do ? can't call anyone or find help online . Any tips ,help please
Try powering the Inkee Falcon Plus on and then tap the power button exactly 8 times rapidly. That should make the light go solid. Once it goes solid power on your GoPro and pair it. These are the steps I show in this video starting at 8:53.

No luck on my side. I can get the green light to come on. I can pair it with my iPhone, but I can't control my Hero 10 to go on/off or use the 3 buttons on the left side of my gimbal. I've even tried a reset.

Great video - however it doesn't fully work with the Hero 11 & Media Mod. You can connect them and all is fully functional - however after I turn the Hero 11 and Gimbal off and then turn the gimbal back on, the Hero 11 needs to paired again - will not remember connection and will not turn on by the gimbal . Happens every single time. You have to endlessly pair the gimbal to the Hero 11 - however half the time the gimbal can't / won't connect to the camera, can take many, many goes. Really annoying. Haven't tried just the Hero 11 on its on (without the media mod attached). Both Hero 11 and gimbal have been factory reset, have re-set wireless connections multiple times and both camera and gimbal have latest firmware. Definitely not working very well with my Hero 11 - very disappointing
Inkee released a firmware update 110 to fix the issue with GoPro 11. Didn't fix anything. Issue still exists. You jeed to pair them again every time you use them together. Disappointing
All instruct click power button 8 times quickly. I tried many times clicking 8 times quickly. Nothing.. Finally I clicked it as fast as I could and it connected. So when Inkee says quickly, you jump quickly. What a pain. I not sure Inkee is longed for this world. Reply
Getting this gimbal balanced is one of the biggest flaws with it in my opinion. If you’re not using the Media Mod I recommend the Hohem iSteady Pro 4. If you are using it and need this one then try getting it as close as you can to balanced and then test it out. If you feel/see vibration of the motors while using it means the balancing needs further fine tuning. If no vibrations then you should be good. I’m going to release a quick tip on something I figured out/rigged up on this gimbal: a way to power it with the battery removed using an external battery pack. Without the battery weight it’s easier to balance and use this.

I unfortunately returned my GoPro because I was looking for a hand free camera to replace my iPhone when I was going out to theme parks and hiking and such. I got tired of holding my iPhone upright so I looked into a GoPro so I would just mount it on my chest and record the experience. But for the price, it just was not worth the investment. My iPhone takes great videos both day and night/low light conditions. Until GoPro has that record in dark low light settings, it’s not worth the money with all these Gizmos that cost a pretty penny. The video is an improvement on the manual, which is also not great. It too me an hour to figure our which side the GoPro11 with the Media mod needs to be facing to mount it. That't not clear especially when you have ham hnds covering that senction as you are recording. The screws to balance to me another hour to adject. It very unwieldly and the toughest part of the installation process. Every time you unmount the GoPro you have to redo these steps to balance the gopro. Not cool at all.
Yes, the configuration and balancing of this gimbal is not the easiest and is what I expect from a budget gimbal. I’m hoping GoPro will get back into the gimbal business again. I really liked the Karma grip gimbal.
Yup, that’s a fair comment. I’ve learned a lot since then and improved. I could make this video private or delete it but I have chosen to keep it up as it has continued to help people despite the imperfections.
That is correct. I am not aware of any gimbals that will also provide buttons that pair with the DJI Osmo Action 4. I have looked for them and not found any so far.

Great tutorial but what if you are using an anamorphic lens? The extra weight on the front completely throws off the balance. How do I compensate?

If you have the light connected on top of the media frame, then it's impossible to balance.
Yes, I believe it will make it too heavy/affect the weight balance a bit too much. Adding additional accessories like this will generally require a heavier duty gimbal.

I updated firmware 115 but unable to connect GoPro hero9 with gimbal. Need to switch on camera separately after the update it’s happening. Need solutions
You need to update the camera's firmware as well and also reset the connection by quickly press 8 times the power button. You can try it I think it will work!
Thanks for taking the time to make the two tutorials for the falcon plus. I have followed your clear instructions up to the pairing part as I am using a GoPro Hero 6 which has different modes to the GoPro 10. The falcon plus works fine, has a constant green light and controls my GoPro with all the buttons, I just can't get the GoPro to turn on with the falcon plus. Any help would be much appreciated.
I recommend making sure the Hero 6 is on the most recent firmware version for that camera and also make sure the Inkee Falcon is on the latest firmware.
If that doesn’t help try resetting the wireless settings on the Hero 6 and then try connecting again.
Thanks for the advice, I did manage to get it to work but I never got to use it. My GoPro died on me whilst snorkeling and I don't know what to replace it with. Are the new ones any good or do I buy an older one and save some $$$

I have a few questions about the Inkee Falcon Plus. As I am watching through TH-cam about some reviews regarding the Falcon Plus, they’ve mentioned that the gimbal can lift at least 200g of action camera. I am worrying about buying one because I am using a Gopro hero 9 + Ulanzi Case + Gopro Microphone Adapter, having a total weight of 210g. While the others are using Media Mod + other accessories.
Can the Inkee Falcon plus lift a 210g go pro (including the said accessories) without having any complications?
Thank you! I would recommend sticking with 200g and below for the weight. Otherwise I expect this will cause premature failure of the motors on the gimbals or this could result in footage that is not adequately stabilized.
Question have you had any issue when recording video and turning yourself around and the gimbal moving on its own in a weird direction?
I have had this happen on a few occasions. I recommend you test out Pan Follow mode and Pan & Tilt Follow mode to see which one gives you the best results for this type of motion. You will likely find one of these works better than the other for you.

Inkee released a recent firmware update for the Falcon Plus. I recommend updating the Falcon Plus and see if this resolves this issues for you.

I pair my hero 11 and it works but then after I power off and power back up I have no connection and have to pair all over again

The gimbal is very compact and ergonomic. It is easy to steam. The only problem is that after 2 months of use (only used for two several-day sessions) the battery dies and you don't know how to replace it.

Sometimes I’ve had to reset the wireless on the GoPro and then try to pair it again. Also make sure the gimbal is in pairing mode.

I took delivery of my Flacon Plus today (bought through Amazon) but wonder if it is faulty. I went through the balancing procedure as you describe. I fully charged the unit first then having balanced, switched on. It too several goes to get the green light for the bluetooth but once I had that I switched on the GoPro and started to go through the Connection process but before I could really get into this the Falcon switched itself off. I have now tried this several times and each time I get the same result, it just won't stay switched on. Any thoughts? Thanks
my falcon plus seems to balance and turn on ok. but the red light stays lit. i don't know why.
Is the battery fully charged? If the battery is fully charged then this could be some type of error with the gimbal.

Great review, I wish there was another 1/4"20 mounting screw on the gimbal handle so I could attach a mic or a light to the handle rather than have to change the set up and re-balance.

Yes, getting that initial Bluetooth connection between the gimbal and your GoPro is one of the buggiest features about this gimbal from my perspective.

I think you have to press the button on the gimbal 8 times rapidly. I believe it then shows a blue light at which point you can swipe on the connection menu on the GoPro to connect it.

Thank you so much for making this! I was getting so frustrated trying to set it up but your video walked me through it & I was able to get my gopro10 w/ media mod balanced 🙌🏻. Quick question - I saw someone was able to balance it with the media mod display but nothing I try is balancing. The other person did say it’s over the weight limit but they were still able to get it to balance/work. Have you tried that & if so, any tricks/tips for getting it to balance?
This is a great question and I have a tip to offer for this. So the GoPro Hero 10 weighs 153 grams and the Media Mod weighs 54 grams. Combined these weigh 207 grams which is technically just slightly over the 200 gram limit of the Inkee Falcon Plus. It’s close enough that this can still be balanced successfully but it can be challenging to do so. The Hero 10 battery weighs 33 grams. If you remove this from the Hero 10 and power the Hero 10 via the USB-C cable that connects to the Inkee Falcon built-in battery you then get the Hero 10 down to a weight of 174 grams. At 174 grams it is much easier to balance. I do recommend having the USB pass through door if doing this though so the GoPro battery door isn’t open. Hope this helps!

Thank goodness for this video!! My Falcon Plus was delivered today and I thought I could do a quick setup and then do a few test videos. The instructions aren't just "lacking", they are awful!! Between the confusing Quick Start card and the fold-out microscopic full instructions, I was lost. After a half hour of frustration, I just searched TH-cam for "inkee falcon plus" and yours was the first one that came up. I had watched several of your videos when I first got my Hero 11, so I was confident that you would make it simple for the setup, and you did. Got it working fine now, thanks to this video!!! My Inkee Falcon Plus goes shut off automatically after the start.. can any one tell me the solution?
It may need a reset, the battery may be failing, or there could be a hardware issue.

Sounds like the Falcon gimbal may need a firmware update, the connections reset, or still possibly some type of hardware issue.
I hold down the power button until it turns on. The green LED flashes. It doesn't stay lit. After being on for about 3-5 seconds it powers off. What's going on?
So I got this gimbal and am using my gopro hero 10 on it. I've noticed that when I started using it with the stabilization turned off so I can also use ND filters, my footage is crazy shaky. Even though everything looks good externally with the gimbal... I'm not sure if there's a setting I'm missing. These are very jerky shakes that I'm not making which makes no sense to me... it completely ruined a weekend worth of footage 🥺 I'm very confused lol
Does it seem like the motor is creating the shakiness? If so then you will likely want to use the Inkee Falcon app and run the calibration process. I had to do that on mine once when I had this issue. Also, if you’ve got the media mod attached as well, try removing the battery and connecting directly with the USB-C cable to the port on the gimbal to power it. This reduces the weight of the GoPro and Media mod combo to about 180 grams with the battery removed which may be significant enough to help the motors perform much better (I gave this tip to someone yesterday and it seemed to help).
Also, your footage can still be salvageable if you use stabilization tools found in Adobe Premiere Pro (warp stabilizer) or in a free software tool such as VideoProc Vlogger.

You’re welcome! The Inkee Falcon Plus is technically rated to support about 200g of weight and the Hero 10 with media mod, battery, and external mic will weigh a bit more than that. Removing the extra weight of the battery can help make this weight more manageable for the motors.

I have a problem:
I am using the inkee falcon plus 3.
Previously, I was using gopro 10 with it, and all functions worked fine.
Now I switched to gopro 11. With that, connecting to the gimbal still works, and I can start and stop recordings. I can even switch both devices off by using the gimbal power button only.
Problem:
I cannot switch the gopro on with the gimbal - which I could with gopro 10.
I have updated to the newest firmware on both devices. I had installed your falcon app, and gopro Quik on my mobile phone.

I haven’t seen yet that the GoPro Hero 11 is fully supported on this gimbal. I suspect Inkee may still be updating their gimbal to offer full Hero 11 support.

This question is for anyone that has the falcon plus: Would I also be able to use the gimbal with my smartphone if I had a smartphone to gopro mount adapter? I'd be more apt to buy it if it worked on both action cams and smartphones.
I would say probably not with most phones due to the weight limit of about 200g on the gimbal but if the smartphone is lighter than 200g then possibly.

I’ve noticed that when your in the PF MODE it looks a little slanted but as you change to FPV MODE it straightens out. Anyone else experiencing this?
I’ve calibrated twice.
It’s a good setup guide in general, but as an Osmo owner, I’d advise to go find another video specific to that. It introduces issues that the GoPro doesn’t, such as the GoPro mount for Osmo standing it higher, and forget about any cages! I’d have looked for a different gimbal.
Tri pod feet are terrible one side was sent to me broken like it was opened too far, it’s a cheap plastic part so I definitely recommend getting a stronger metal part for replacement asap. Other than that I do like it 👍🏽

Thanks for the great tutorial. I received my Inkee Falcon Pro yesterday and very happy with it. Much easier to set up than the other gimbals I have tried. My only complaint is that I have to use the Allen key screw to mount the GoPro when using the Media Mod rather than a GoPro style thumbscrew. If you are only going to use the GoPro on the Falcon Plus, it is no problem but I also use the GoPro with the Media Mod on my motorcycle helmet. Having to used the Allen key screw is very inconvenient for switching from one to the other.

Why use a gimbal on the GoPro 10 when stabilization is excellent without it? 🤷🏼♂️
Good question. Two main reasons:
1. If you’re using ND filters. Hypersmooth doesn’t work well with ND filters on and usually results in unusable, super jittery footage.
2. If you’re filming in low light. Hypersmooth doesn’t work well in low light.

Yeah it’s mostly if you’re moving with the camera while also using an ND filter or in low light. When moving without stabilization the footage becomes unusable due to it being so shaky. This is where a gimbal helps meet the need.
Hi everyone :() I'm getting the flashing green light never the solid one:( tried at least 20 times and I'm ready to go off :( no matter what I'm doing . What can I do ? can't call anyone or find help online . Any tips ,help please
Try powering the Inkee Falcon Plus on and then tap the power button exactly 8 times rapidly. That should make the light go solid. Once it goes solid power on your GoPro and pair it. These are the steps I show in this video starting at 8:53.

No luck on my side. I can get the green light to come on. I can pair it with my iPhone, but I can't control my Hero 10 to go on/off or use the 3 buttons on the left side of my gimbal. I've even tried a reset.
Did you update the firmware on the gimbal? If not, I recommend trying this and then do the pairing process again.

Great video - however it doesn't fully work with the Hero 11 & Media Mod. You can connect them and all is fully functional - however after I turn the Hero 11 and Gimbal off and then turn the gimbal back on, the Hero 11 needs to paired again - will not remember connection and will not turn on by the gimbal . Happens every single time. You have to endlessly pair the gimbal to the Hero 11 - however half the time the gimbal can't / won't connect to the camera, can take many, many goes. Really annoying. Haven't tried just the Hero 11 on its on (without the media mod attached). Both Hero 11 and gimbal have been factory reset, have re-set wireless connections multiple times and both camera and gimbal have latest firmware. Definitely not working very well with my Hero 11 - very disappointing
I believe the Hero 11 is not yet fully supposed by Inkee. I have found it to not yet work 100% for me even after updating the firmware on the Inkee.
Lets hope the updated firmware is released soon for gropro 11
Inkee released a firmware update 110 to fix the issue with GoPro 11. Didn't fix anything. Issue still exists. You jeed to pair them again every time you use them together. Disappointing

All instruct click power button 8 times quickly. I tried many times clicking 8 times quickly. Nothing.. Finally I clicked it as fast as I could and it connected. So when Inkee says

Getting this gimbal balanced is one of the biggest flaws with it in my opinion. If you’re not using the Media Mod I recommend the Hohem iSteady Pro 4. If you are using it and need this one then try getting it as close as you can to balanced and then test it out. If you feel/see vibration of the motors while using it means the balancing needs further fine tuning. If no vibrations then you should be good. I’m going to release a quick tip on something I figured out/rigged up on this gimbal: a way to power it with the battery removed using an external battery pack. Without the battery weight it’s easier to balance and use this.

I unfortunately returned my GoPro because I was looking for a hand free camera to replace my iPhone when I was going out to theme parks and hiking and such. I got tired of holding my iPhone upright so I looked into a GoPro so I would just mount it on my chest and record the experience. But for the price, it just was not worth the investment. My iPhone takes great videos both day and night/low light conditions. Until GoPro has that record in dark low light settings, it’s not worth the money with all these Gizmos that cost a pretty penny. The video is an improvement on the manual, which is also not great. It too me an hour to figure our which side the GoPro11 with the Media mod needs to be facing to mount it. That't not clear especially when you have ham hnds covering that senction as you are recording. The screws to balance to me another hour to adject. It very unwieldly and the toughest part of the installation process. Every time you unmount the GoPro you have to redo these steps to balance the gopro. Not cool at all.
Yes, the configuration and balancing of this gimbal is not the easiest and is what I expect from a budget gimbal. I’m hoping GoPro will get back into the gimbal business again. I really liked the Karma grip gimbal.

So the buttons only work with gopros? Any suggetions for a gimbal that works with a dji osmo action 4?
That is correct. I am not aware of any gimbals that will also provide buttons that pair with the DJI Osmo Action 4. I have looked for them and not found any so far.
