Dom I’ve only watched basketball religiously for a year but a few of my favourite moments was Westbrook’s game winner against he Nuggets breaking the record for triple doubles, Lebron James’ ridiculous game winner against the Wizards and Durant’s performance during the 2017 finals
LeBron coming back from 3-1, it was the greatest comeback I ever seen. It was like something out a movie. Kobe's last game, and Steph Curry's first mvp season.
"BANG, BANG, oh what a shot from Curry". Any moment that brings a double bang out of Mike Breen is a GOAT moment. But "Ohhh block by James!" is probably my favourite NBA moment.
Seeing Westbrook hit the game winner on the Nuggets last year after setting the most triple doubles in a season in that game and making a comeback in the 4th. One of my recent favorites.
Top 5 favorite moments in NBA history for me: 1. LeBron’s block on Iggy 2. Tatum’s dunk over LeBron 3. PG’s dunk over Birdman 4. LeBron’s game winner vs Raptors 5. Steph taking CP3’s ankles
I’d have to say my favourite moment is when kawhi hit that game winner against the 76ers. I just remember sitting in my room and watching the game with so much intensity, I remember watching the shot go up bounce off the rim and saying to myself “overtime” and then it went in and I went crazy
I can remember yearly moments from as far back as 2002. I can remember being glued to the TV, cultivated by at least one moment every single year. The NBA is something else when we set our preferences aside and just sit back and enjoy what we're witnessing. 2001-02: Robert Horry's game winner to tie WCF at 2-2 vs. Kings. 2002-03: Michael Jordan's fadeaway over Marion in his last All-Star Game (Still mad that wasn't the game winner) (Honorable Mention: Jason Richardson vs. Desmond Mason dunk contest final the night before). 2003-04: Derek Fisher's 0.4 shot (HM: Tayshawn Prince's block on Reggie Miller) 2004-05: T-Mac's 13 points in 35 secs 2005-06: Kobe's 81 points (HM: Kobe's Game 4 buzzer beater against the Suns. Lost the series, but iconic shot; also D-Wade's finals performance. FTs aside, it was just his 3rd season and he was amazing) 2006-07: Lebron's 48 straight point masterpiece against Detroit in G5 of the ECF. 2007-08: Lebron vs. Pierce Game 7 duel in the 2nd round, each dropping 40+ (HM: No one talks about this, but Ray Allen hitting a triple clutch reverse layup in Game 4 of the Finals in the midst of a Celtics 25 point comeback. It was the most amazing shot I ever saw at the time) 2008-09: Lebron's game winner in Game 2 of the ECF vs. the Magic. I was hoping hard to finally get a Kobe-Lebron Finals. The puppet commercials were in full effect. Kobe was the 08 MVP, then Lebron in 09. This was the closest we ever came: both of them just 4 wins away. In the moment, looked all but certain that the Magic would go up 2-0 and spoil it, then Lebron hit that shot. I remember running on my Xbox freaking out to my friends right after it happened. Of course, the Magic ended up spoiling it anyway and won the series. (HM: D-Wade's game winner vs. the Bulls in 2OT) 2009-10: Lakers-Celtics Finals Game 7. That was an ugly game from an offensive perspective, but a classic finish nonetheless. The image of Kobe standing on the scorer's table with the confetti raining on him is iconic. 2010-11: CP3 shredding the defending champion Lakers to kick off the playoffs, showing the basketball world how lethal he becomes in the playoffs (HM: Lebron and DWade going on an 18-3 run by themselves to close out the Bulls in the ECF) 2011-12: LeBron's Game 6 at Boston. He was on another realm of dominance the entire game. It felt spooky just watching from my couch. 2012-13: Ray Allen's 3 hands down. (HM: Game 7 Heat-Spurs from start to finish. If Tim Duncan hits that bunny layup with one minute left to tie it it's anyone's game; also Kobe willing the Lakers to the playoffs before tearing his achilles. It was the last stretch of games we ever saw from him at his peak) 2013-14: This may sound like an odd one, but Game 7 between the Clippers and Warriors in Round 1. Five of the 1st round series that year went to 7 games, but this series was my favorite to watch from Game 1-7. The amazing game 7 aside, that was supposed to be the Warriors next rivalry, not the Cavs (not yet at least). I had the Clippers winning that series in 7, but knew the Warriors were coming. That was the last game the Warriors played as a mediocre team. From the next season onward, they started on the path to become the dynasty they are today. (HM: Vince Carter avenging his 2001 playoff woe by hitting a buzzer beating 3 in the corner to beat the Spurs in Game 3 of Round 1) 2014-15: Warriors-Cavs Finals: As undermanned as Lebron became, this was back when the Warriors were still on the come up as far as deep playoff experience. That Warriors youth + Lebrons greatness made this a great series. Game 5 was most memorable to me, with Lebron and Curry going bucket for bucket in the 4th quarter, hitting incredible shots. I thought Steph secured his chances for Finals MVP after his performance this game but I guess his Game 2 and half of Game 3 blunders carried too much weight. (HM: Klay Thompson's 37 point quarter, Chris Paul willing the Clippers on one good leg past the Spurs in a classic Game 7 with a last second game winner) 2015-16: Warriors-Cavs Game 7: One for the ages. No further explanation needed. (A few HMs, this season was amazing: the entirety of Steph Curry's season, Kobe's 60 point finale, Klay Thompson's WCF Game 6 Flash Flood at OKC (11 3PTs) to force Game 7, D-Wade delivering (and shutting up Purple Shirt Man) down 3-2 on the road to force Game 7 vs. the Hornets in R1) 2016-17: Russell Westbrook's 50 point, triple-double record breaking comeback + game winner against the Nuggets to end their playoff hopes. That game basically sealed the MVP race. I thought Harden should have won, but there was no way the media would deny Russ after that performance. (HM: Kyrie's game winner against the Warriors on Christmas) 2017-18: Indiana and Boston taking Lebron to the brink and Houston doing the same to the Warriors. This was the first time in 2+ years (2 for GS, 3 for CLE, they coasted vs. TOR in 2016, should have been a sweep) that the Cavs and Warriors had to face serious adversity before meeting the Finals yet again, both having to come down from 3-2 and win a road game 7 to do so, with the Cavs also having to survive a close Game 7 shave against Indy in R1. It leaves a light of hope for the future of playoff competition in the league. Even if Lebron decides to resign, I don't see a 5th chapter of Cavs-Warriors next year. I didn't even see a 4th this year coming. I would have rather seen a young scrappy Boston team take on the Warriors in the Finals if anything. Perhaps the stage would be too big for them, but seeing Lebron have such an amazing run just to get swept and stomped out in the end was far from enjoyable. Not every Finals will be great, but this year could have been far better given what we saw leading up to it. Here's to next year being better.
Bravo. This comment deserves an award. The only minor nitpick I have is that in the 2010-11 season, I feel like you should have at least mentioned Dirk's historic, unprecedented playoff run. I probably would have said his entire performance against OKC in the WCF, especially Game 1 when he dropped 48. He hit some of the most mind-boggling shots ever. And then I would have also mentioned LeBron's 2 buzzer-beaters in the 2018 playoffs as well. And then in the 3 years of NBA since you posted it, what else would you include? For me, it'd be: - 2018-19: Dame's casual 37-foot walk-off game-winning, series-clinching buzzer-beater 3-pointer in DPOY candidate Paul George's face to eliminate the Thunder & him giving the cold-blooded goodbye wave to OKC (HMs: Kawhi's 4-bounce Game 7 series-clinching game-winner buzzer-beater vs. Philly to make Joel Embiid cry & that amazing, classic quadruple-OT Game 4 between the Blazers & Nuggets in the 2nd round with a nail-biting finish; just an all-around great playoffs) - 2019-20: Just "The Bubble" entirely, but I guess more specifically, the Clippers just absolutely collapsing & having the biggest CHOKEJOB in NBA history, not only blowing a 3-1 series lead vs. the Nuggets but also giving up 13, 16, & 19-point 2nd-half leads to do it, with the defining moment being Paul George hitting the side of the backboard on a 3-pt. attempt late in Game 7 (HMs: Luka Doncic's amazing 40+ point triple-double performance that was topped off with his signature dribble-move, step-back, game-winning, buzzer-beater 3-pointer vs. the Clippers in the 1st round, AD's game-winner vs. the Nuggets, & Dame's trio of 60+ point performances that year) - 2020-21: Dame's jaw-dropping, record-breaking 55-point, 12 made 3-pointers game against the Nuggets in the 1st round where he hit some of the most ridiculous, clutch 3s ever (HMs: the Clippers righting their wrongs a little bit & coming back from 2-3 down against the Mavs & reverse-sweeping the #1 seed Jazz (mostly without Kawhi) after falling down 0-2, to make their 1st WCF in franchise history, their 1st round series vs. Dallas where it was the 1st series in NBA playoff history where the away team won the first 6 games, Steph Curry's historic, record-breaking stretch in April where he hit like 96 3s, including double-digit amounts in 4 games in a 5-game stretch, & KD barely missing the series-clinching buzzer-beater turnaround 3 where his shoe was _barely_ on the line to send it to OT instead where he proceeded to airball the next same attempt vs. the eventual champ Bucks in the 2nd round)
LeBron Game 6 vs Celtics and Game 5 vs Pistons People say he’s not “not clutch in last 2 minutes” He’s definitely clutch when facing elimination People forget clutch doesn’t just mean last 2 minutes If you’re down 3-2, and you show up with 40 plus, that’s clutch
@@andylee6147 that "old ass" celtics was still looked at as title contenders back in 2012. You sound like a nigga who didn't even watch the game back then
Reggie Miller dropping back to back 3s on the Knicks in Game1 T-Mac dropping 13 in 33 seconds Kobe with 48 and 16 to close out the Kings in 2001 with Shaq fouled out Kobe faking out the entire New Orleans Hornets team to seal the game en route to a 42 pt 12 assist night in 2013, I was there live and the Hornets were rolling up by 25 then the Lakers just came back because he refused to lose and Dwight Howard played great as well. I couldn't believe the entire Hornets team forgot which basket they were supposed to be defending lol.
1: Ray Allen stepping over Tyron Lue in Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals. 2: De'Andre Jordan slamming it home against Brandon Knight. (Tell me with a straight face that that wasn't the most savage shit!) 3: Russell Westbrook's game winner against the Denver Nuggets to ensure averaging a triple double in 2017. 4: Tracy McGrady scoring 11 points in 35 seconds. 5: Kevin Garnett screaming "Anything Is Possible!" after winning the 2008 NBA Finals. 6: Kevin Durant's "You da real MVP!" speech. 7: Stephen Curry's overtime forcer in Game 6 of the WCF against the Thunder. "Warriors with a timeout, decide not to use it, Curry, from way downtown, BANG! BANG! Oh, what a shot from Curry!" 8: Vince Carter's performance in the Dunk Contest. 9: James Harden getting concussed by Ron Artest being Ron Artest. 10: LeBron James' "Cleveland! This is for you!" speech.
1. Kobe Bryant 81 point and his 60 point 2. Westbrook game winning shot after broken the record for the most triple double in a season 3.Artest three on the Celtics game 7 of the nba finals 4. Cavs won there first nba championship 5. Mavs 2011 championship 6.tmac 13 points in 33 seconds
My top 5 favorite moments 1. Game 7 of the NBA Finals 2010 2. Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals 3. Christmas Day 2017 4. Mamba Day (Kobe’s last game) 5. Kobe’s 81 point game
CLEAN ASS INTRO DOM. I'm too young of an NBA fan to have any moments other than "The Block", because I only started paying attention in 2014 cause of 2K14.
My fav moments are Steph Curry almost half court shot vs OCK, Steph Curry revenge shot on Kyrie in game 5 in the 2017 nba finals, This is a bad memory but very rememberable The block/The Kyrie Irving shot.
Honestly my favorite of all my memories though is a surprising one, as a Celtics fan, it's Lebron's performance in the Garden in game 6 of the 2012 ECF. I was 13 and it was the second Celtics game I had ever attended and the vibe in the building that night headed in was so jubilant due to the fans believing the Celtics were gonna knock out LeBron AGAIN, and for the attitude to switch so quickly once LeBron took control was astounding. I can't remember his exact stat line, but he was just so dominant. My uncle and I left midway through the 4th quarter(as did many others), for the reason that Bill Simmons gave about leaving that game "we just didn't want to be there anymore". That game made me come to appreciate LeBron and what he does in the game and for that it's my overall favorite memory
My favorite NBA memory has to be Isaiah Thomas's 53 against the Wizards in Game 2 of the ECSF last year. I just remember how in awe I was watching that absolutely insane comeback and it reminds me of just how tough IT really is, with the physical nature of the games, him talking with a lisp after losing his tooth, him playing through injury (I could honestly tell he was injured, just didn't know the extent of it), mourning his sister's death, which was probably worsened by it being her birthday, and just the plain resilience shown with him willing the team to a major comeback in the 4th quarter and carrying that momentum into overtime. Literally never seen that much heart before or since that game.
My favorite moment is Rondo's 44 point game vs the Heat, even though they lost 😓 I remember that game and the other games you mentioned so well, especially Rondo's 3 on Lebron. I remember where I was, what I was wearing and what I threw when I watched Rondo's game and the other games you refered to. I loved watching Lebron's chase down block and Allen's clutch 3 vs Spurs 🔥🔥 I think Boston should have won in 2010 vs the Lakers
As a cavs fan, I will never be able to forget the pure sweetness of release i felt when that buzzer hit 0 in game 7. it was so tense the entire way and all culminated with the block/shot combo to what is easily the best 1 2 knockout blow the nba has ever seen. i would put it over bird’s steal. unbelievable.
1) AI stepping over Tyron Lue 2) LeBron literally jumps over a Celtics player and dunks it 3) Ray Allen saves LeBron's career 4) Kevin McHale kills Kurt Rambis 5) Jordan comes out of retirement 6) Stockton hits his game 6 three 7) Shawn Kemp murders Alton Lister 8) AI's practice rant 9) Vince Carter 360 dunks it 10) Chris Childs punches Kobe
I remember that same warriors game because Curry is my favorite player and also the reason I became a big NBA fan. My sister was an OKC fan so we were tuned in, yelling in excitement and anger every time Curry launched the ball. The end of the 4th had OKC up 2 and KD fouled Iguodala which was his 6th and he was tossed. Iggy hit the 2 free throws with 0 seconds on the clock and the game goes to OT. Then everyone knows the 40 ft shot and I just remember sliding out of my chair and hitting the floor, then running in to the next room to brag on what happened. Definitely my favorite game I've watched live.
January 22nd, 2006. I was only 7 years old at the time. Ray Allen was playing for the SuperSonics (My favorite player and my favorite team) and they were playing against the Nash led Suns. He went off that game for 42 points, hit 8 three pointers, the game went into double OT and of course Allen hit the game winner. That entire game was just amazing honestly. (Another cool fact is that this is the same day that Kobe went of for 81 points, so this Ray Allen game often gets underlooked)
I still remember as a youngin, watching the recap of Kobe’s 81 point game and although I was too young to understand the importance of that moment, I knew it was special and I remember that very vividly to this day
Oh my gosh, dude, I remember that Celtics-Lakers January game so vividly! I'm also a Celtics fan about the same age as you, and that was like the most heartbreaking sequence I had ever seen at that point as a young Celtics fan. Then they lost game 7 later that year...
I’m young so I haven’t been old enough to remember the great days of the Boston Big 3 but I remember vs New York in the Truths and KG’s Final year in Boston in 2013. The Celtics were down like 20 to the Knicks and Avery Bradley brought them all the back. It was really the first time I hear of Bradley I was like 8 then but the way he facilitated he comeback with a team of Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett was awesome to watch
I started watching at the 2016 finals, so there are not many. 1- Westbrook game winner against the Nuggets. That was the game he broke Oscar record and I watched most of those triple doubles. I also was pretty mad that we were losing to the Nuggets and Russ brought us back and hit an amazing shot. 2- Game 3 of the first round OKC Vs Rockets 2017. I remember getting so mad at Nene for having an incredible game and screaming like crazy, even waking my mom up. 3- Westbrook Game tying shot vs the Magic in the 16-17 season. We were getting destroyed by the Magic all game and I was almost going to sleep, but then we started coming back, and when the Magic missed the FT and Russ brought the ball up, I knew we were tying that game. He pulls up 3 feet behind the 3 point line while being double teamed and drills it. I just sat in amazement. 4- When KD announced he was going to the Warriors. I Had recently started watching. Had just watched the highlights of the WCF and was hoping they would make a run in the first season I watched. I made a bet with my friend that he was going to stay, and he bet he was going to the Warriors. When he announced, I just sat on my bad, sad as hell, so disappointed at him. Seeing Stephen A call that the weakest move by a superstar was the only thing that made me less sad.
the 2016 season was crazy. the best one i've ever watched. All the historic events that went into the season made it so great. If the east was more competitive it would have been a perfect season in my mind
Let me be clear: LeBrons block on Andre Igoudala was the greatest moment in NBA history...if you missed it, that’s just as bad as missing Ray Allen’s 3 from the corner! The story itself sounds like a video game-but the loss in the hearts of Cleveland when Igoudala got the coast to coast on the layup that would DEFINITELY ice the cake on the series and LeBrons career-and he blocks it less than half a second before it hits the glass??? It was unreal. Maybe it’s a tie at number one
I don’t watch games a lot but there’s one moment from 2017 that I love: the Spurs first game of the season where Kawhi stole the ball from Curry and dunked on KD
I'm a clippers fan and I have some vivid memories of the past 4 years and they mostly are not good, but I also got some good ones like when CP3 hit the game winner against the Spurs. That series was probably the most underrated playoff series in NBA history. Looking back it gets overlooked because we blew a 3-1 lead that should've never even been close to happening.
1) CP3 game winner against the spurs while he was with the clippers in the playoffs 2) Lebron game 7 block 3) Ray Allen game saving 3 4) Lebron game winner vs magic back in 2009 5) Blake Griffins dunk contest Now let me explain each memory since in my opinion it’s all out of wack. 1:I’m a clippers fan and always getting beat by the spurs was basically tradition at this point. I remember that this game was on the same day as a mayweather fight and everyone left to go watch. I stayed in and watched my clippers fight in game 7 to finally beat our bullies 2: clearly not fond of the warriors being a clippers fan and just watching the bandwagons get beat will forever live with me, and to agree with Dom, Lebron came out of nowhere 3: my dad and I watched this game together and just the reactions we had was just amazing 4: the shot that got me Into basketball honestly 5: Blake griffin being my favorite player, I loved watching him showcase his athleticism
One of my favorite memories is game 4 of the 2008 NBA Finals. That 24+ point comeback by the Celtics led by some clutch shots by Ray, Posey, and Eddie House To cap it off I loved and still think about that little hesitation move Ray put on Sasha Vujacic that completely froze him !
I was living in Miami during that 2013 Finals. When Ray Allen hit that shot I swear the entire city screamed in joy you could hear it all around you coming from everywhere, it was surreal and I've never experienced anything like that before. That's why that moment is my favorite NBA moment
One of my favorite moments would have to be Ginobili’s block on Harden. Harden got the fake and I swore he was about to hit it but then Ginobili blocks it from behind out of nowhere with what I can only assume was old man strength
Derrick Rose winning mvp. A kid from my city plays for my city and makes us proud Curry’s ridiculous season, and that game against okc Kobe’s last game. I actually shed a tear or two with his last few shots. He was his old self, one last time. KD going crazy when Russ went down, and that game winner against the hawks Young Lebron hitting the game winner against the magic. This was back when everyone loved Lebron.
Since i live in germany i dont get to watch that many nba games live but i still remember lasr years 1st round series between utah and la (im a jazz fan) and i watched like 4 games from that series. The Johnson game winner, the game 7 win and all that at like 4am with school the next day but it was totally worth it.
Started watching in the 2015 NBA Playoffs. Here's some of the prominant memories: 5) Stephen Curry impossible game-winner in New Orleans (1st Round, Game 3, 2015) - I am a huge Pelicans fan, and watching this game we just looked so much more lively than the first two games. We were so close to closing out, but I think it was Speights who grabbed the rebound, found Stephen Curry running for the corner, and passed it to him. I saw Anthony Davis go to contest it. His contest was so good, I honestly thought he had blocked it. When I saw the shot go in, I couldn't believe it. Obviously, we went to OT and lost. Huge disappointment... but an amazing moment. 4) Kevin Durant's game-winner in Cleveland (NBA Finals, Game 3, 2017) - This shot just bewildered me. I was rooting for Cleveland that night. I'm a huge fan of underdogs, so anytime there is a chance for a team or player to defy all odds, I am all for it. All night, Cleveland looked like they were going to take that game. It just seemed pretty obvious that this series was going back to Oakland tied 2-2, as Cleveland would use the momentum to win game 4 as well. That didn't happen. I don't even remember what happened, or how it did, but Cleveland screwed it up. The Warriors, who were supposed to just fall apart at the end of a game like that, did the opposite. They started playing amazing in the last few minutes to comeback and win. When Kevin Durant hit that 3, my heart sank because I realized that these finals were pretty much over. 3) Stephen Curry's game-winner in Oklahoma City (Regular Season, 2016) - There really isn't anything to say about this. Stupid incredible. 2) LeBron James' block (NBA Finals, Game 7, 2016) - The only reason this is not number one, is because I wasn't actually surprised by this moment. Watching Igoudala pass to Curry, and then Curry give it back to Igoudala, I knew something was coming. I remember I didn't even have a reaction to the block, because I called it. The words "LeBron is going to block that" were running through my head on that entire fast break sequence. I didn't know how, I didn't even know that it was possible, I just... saw it coming? 1) Kyrie Irving's game-winner (NBA Finals, Game 7, 2016) - This shot has to be the greatest shot I've seen live. Everything is on the line at this moment. No one has scored in the past 4 minutes. It's a standoff. This game and series was up for grabs in every way imaginable. Kyrie goes isolation on Curry, and I honestly thought Kyrie was going to drive for a layup or kick it out, but he instead does a step-back, and Curry kind of falls for a bad contest. When he shot it, I couldn't help but think; "What a stupid decision." When the shot went in, however, I shut my mouth.
The most impactful to me was the ray allen 3 and the caveliers comeback! I wasn't the biggest NBA fan before those moments and I've been hooked ever since lol
Yep, I refuse to watch anything related to the 2013 finals, whether they replay the any of the games or a video about it. Even a little mention of it I’ll skip it.
There's so many. Ron Artest hitting the 3 in game 7 of the finals, Kobe hitting the game winner on Phx, Fisher with .4 sec wins the game, (if you haven't figured out, I'm a Laker fan) the 2011 championship when Marion made the hook shot on James and started mouthing off, Kobes farewell I legit cried, hell this year when Rozier hit the 3 to take the lead then Middleton tied it up to force overtime. There's a lot I'm leaving off but it's the best sport in the world
I've got a few that are a bit obscure: 1. Wizards vs. Cavs in 2017 - that game made me want to see them in the Eastern Conference Finals. Lebron's fadeway to tie the game, Kyrie activating Takeover in OT, the shot over Beal that was the EXACT shot he hit over Curry, and Beal breaking Shumpert's ankle in that game - one of the best I’ve watched, start to finish, crazy underrated. 2. Lebronto, Game 2 in 2018 - the entire 4th quarter ("he's hotter than fish grease" is one of my all-time favorite calls) 3. KD's fallaway three and-one against the Grizzlies in 2014, I think it was - even though they didn't win, that shot is insane, and with Marc Gasol draped on him. 4. LeBron’s and-one vs. the Celtics in Game 7, 2018. Only for the celebration. The crowd silence, the look of exhaustion from the bench, the lion’s roar - LeBron literally went Ultra Instinct that postseason.
That Boston Celtics game as a fan i remember it because that was the game Ray Allen broke the three point record and a couple days before that we aquired Jeff green and nenad kristic for nate Robinson and Kendrick Perkins which that trade still aggravates me
I haven't been watching basketball for very long, so I'd say that my favorite moments were two. One was LeBron dropping 42 this year against the Pacers in game 7, and the final game between Pelicans and Blazers, mostly because they were the first games that I watched with a friend of mine, cause of the time difference where I live, so it was a lot of fun watching the games with him and that's why I remember them.
Man all of my memories as a Thunder fan are painful but my favorite nba memories are: LeBron block on iggy, Ray Allen’s 3, Thunder finals run, win over Spurs in 2016 wcsf
My favorite moment in my time watching the nba was in 2010 in the wcf game 6 when Kobe had hit that fadeaway three in, I think, Grant Hill’s face and then right after dapping up Alvin Gentry after literally killing the suns
Personally hands down the 15-16 finals im not even a cavs fan but i was rooting for them in the series and when they went down and everyone was saying oh it’s impossible I agreed but when they came back I remember how happy I was it was just sooo crazy.
My favorite moment in NBA history has to be paul millsaps comeback vs the heat, it was the first game I ever watched and I told myself that I would support whoever won and Utah ended up winning, and now I get to watch Rudy and donovan usher in the new age of jazz basketball.
i been watchin since about 2013-2014 and my favorite moments are kobes last game, hardens game winner against the warriors, ray allens 3 in game 6, and brons block in the finals
i watched curry go insane in game 5 against the cavs in 2015 that is probably my favorite moment in nba history cus this is the series that made curry my favorite player
Warrirs vs cavs 2016 game 7, celtics vs Cavs game 1 ecf 2018 on mothers day,2013 NBA finals game 6 Miami vs spurs, game 1 2018 Cavs vs pacers and 2017 CHRISTMAS day game Cavs vs warriors. Most of these are recent because I'm only 12 and only been actively watching da NBA since 2014
Game 7 2016 as a Warriors fan that is a stinger especially with so many opportunities to win that game but that block basically ended everything. Would've won that series if not for suspensions and injuries but we got 2 more "rings" and lost in 2019, I think we go what we deserved in 3 rings.
Maaan the block by LeBron... being from Europe, it was like close to 6. A.M., and i had a super-important exam on my college... was definitely exhausted but i dont regret a thing cause that block and that shot from Kyrie were magnificent, coming from a not so huge lebron fan, it was just a fantastic game and a fantastic moment, left me shaking.
My top 4 memories of NBA games 1.Reggie Miller- Game #1 1995 NBA Eastern Conference Semi-Finals: 8 points in 9 seconds 2.Michael Jordan -Game #1 1992 Finals 3. Michael Jordan- Game 5 NBA Finals: The flu game 4. Hakeem Olajuwon- The whole 1995 playoffs
When cavs came back down 3-1, i started watching nba 4 yrs ago, my fav player kobe i go for the lakers and when the cavs went down 3-1 i told all my freinds and people at school they would comeback and they did it, was watching live in class
Having seen that OKC-GSW game live in February 2016, the Steph Curry game winner, combined with his whole game to that point, stands out as the best for me.
I remember watching kobe’s last game and falling asleep at half time. I woke up right when he was going on his run, late in the 4th. i’m a kobe fan, so when he hit that last shot and the free throws to give him 60 points.. i almost cried man 😭 favorite player of all time 🙌🏾
My favorite memories: 1.) 2010 FInals Game 7, finals seconds Lakers up 4, Pau with the rebound, outlet pass to Kobe and announcer going "its over, the Lakers repeat, back to back NBA Champions" and then Kobe standing on the scorers table celebrating 2.) 2017 Finals game 3 Cavs up 1, LeBron pass to Korver for 3, he misses and KD with the rebound and he brings the ball up the floor and pulls up for 3 and nails the game winner 3.) Steph Curry's 46 point game against OKC including the game winner from near half court 4.) Kobe dropping 60 points in the last game of his career including hitting the last 5 shots in a row
A few of my favorite moments are Ray Allen's Lebron career saving corner 3. Meta worldpeace pulling for 3 in game 7 of the finals and you felt the entire state of Cali scream and then cheer. That deep 3 from curry against OKC is still unbelievable
Yeah that Metta 3 was sick. One of my favorite moments is when Derrick rose hit the fadeaway 3 against the cavs. And then his stone cold face 😂. And then when terry rozier stole bogdonovic’s pass and dunked it to win the game. My last one is a thriller Celtics vs rockets. Marcus smart plays great defense against James Harden, then Harden gets a charging foul. Wit this is the last one. First game of the season cavs vs Celtics. I’m on my phone and I miss the Hayward injury. I look up the video of it and I hear the *SNAP* of his leg. Eerie.
Uncle Sterling Jebediah Archer Freeman the Fourth I know I sound a lot like Skip Bayless but if that shot doesn't go in Lebron has a completely different legacy.
Back then I didn't have tnt or TH-cam TV or anything like that so I would just watch highlights of games so eventually me and my family for TH-cam TV and the first game I ever saw was Kawhi Leanards career high of 45pts and I found this mind blowing for some reason
My 2 favorite memories would be : Watching Kobe in 2013 play the GSW on the day he tore his Achilles. I remember standing speechless when he went down holding his knee and damn near breaking my tv remote when he stood up. I was screaming. Watching all the extremely well contested shots, like the behind the back/spin move with a floater over Klay and another guy I believe? Or the deep 3 over Harrison Barnes that tied the game and really should've missed. All down to when he tore his Achilles and still went to hit his free throws. Another is Kawhi's game against the Cavs last year. Jan 21 I think? I specifically remember asking "Why is Richard Jefferson guarding Kawhi and not Lebron. Then the game got closer and I finally saw the matchup and Kawhi didn't shy away at all. Lebron was denying Kawhi the ball as hard as I've seen someone deny a person in awhile but Kawhi not only got to it, but hit the open man and I screamed. I honestly believed the ball wasn't going to Leonard because I felt it was a sure turnover but they made it happen. I remember towards the end when Lebron hit a 3 that no one was expecting to tie the game and then proceeded to clamp Kawhi and get the ball back. I was on the edge of my seat by then because I knew that the Cavs were gonna force Danny onto Lebron because it was easy buckets at that point and it happened. I was happy Lebron missed that 3 man. OT was nothing short of amazing as well but i've been talking for long enough lol
My most fav moment, When Robert Horry hit the game winner in game 4 of the 02 WCF against Sacramento. Thank you Vlade Flop Divac for knocking the ball right to him.

Dom I’ve only watched basketball religiously for a year but a few of my favourite moments was Westbrook’s game winner against he Nuggets breaking the record for triple doubles, Lebron James’ ridiculous game winner against the Wizards and Durant’s performance during the 2017 finals
After the lakers won the 2010 finals (Celtics fan) l went to my room crying saying the green team lost #didn't know a lot about basketball
Dom
Nick Anderson missing those free throws...
Dom looooooool wat de fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
The 2016 wcf and 2016 nba finals
LeBron coming back from 3-1, it was the greatest comeback I ever seen. It was like something out a movie. Kobe's last game, and Steph Curry's first mvp season.
"BANG, BANG, oh what a shot from Curry". Any moment that brings a double bang out of Mike Breen is a GOAT moment. But "Ohhh block by James!" is probably my favourite NBA moment.
Seeing Westbrook hit the game winner on the Nuggets last year after setting the most triple doubles in a season in that game and making a comeback in the 4th. One of my recent favorites.
Marco Belinelli true
Marco Belinelli stat padded through the game
Sadly probably Gunna be his best highlight of his career
@Confessions Of A Movie Freak Keep that same energy now 😈
My fav moment (and I know Dom is gonna kill me) would have to be Ron Artest 3 pointer in game 7 of the finals
Blocked
Dom
loooool greatest finals ever
Lol Kobe was cringing hard when he shot that
Same here
Favorite moments:
1. Dallas winning 2011
2. The Block - 2016
3. T-Mac 13 in 33 seconds
4. Kobe 81
same man, except i didnt get to witness kobe's 81 live, i would replace that one with boston's championship win in 2008
Khalid Ahmed ray allen shot too
well yes but i was cheering for the spurs so...
When prime d rose dunked in MSG. When d rose finished at the rim with lbj and wade chasing him down. 2015 d rose game winner vs Cleveland.
This years celtics run is pretty special
Fax, my celtics
Top 5 favorite moments in NBA history for me:
1. LeBron’s block on Iggy
2. Tatum’s dunk over LeBron
3. PG’s dunk over Birdman
4. LeBron’s game winner vs Raptors
2003-04: Derek Fisher's 0.4 shot (HM: Tayshawn Prince's block on Reggie Miller)
2004-05: T-Mac's 13 points in 35 secs
2005-06: Kobe's 81 points (HM: Kobe's Game 4 buzzer beater against the Suns. Lost the series, but iconic shot; also D-Wade's finals performance. FTs aside, it was just his 3rd season and he was amazing)
2006-07: Lebron's 48 straight point masterpiece against Detroit in G5 of the ECF.
It was the most amazing shot I ever saw at the time)
2008-09: Lebron's game winner in Game 2 of the ECF vs. (HM: D-Wade's game winner vs. the Bulls in 2OT)
2009-10: Lakers-Celtics Finals Game 7. That was an ugly game from an offensive perspective, but a classic finish nonetheless. The image of Kobe standing on the scorer's table with the confetti raining on him is iconic.
2010-11: CP3 shredding the defending champion Lakers to kick off the playoffs, showing the basketball world how lethal he becomes in the playoffs (HM: Lebron and DWade going on an 18-3 run by themselves to close out the Bulls in the ECF)
2011-12: LeBron's Game 6 at Boston.
It was the last stretch of games we ever saw from him at his peak)
2013-14: This may sound like an odd one, but Game 7 between the Clippers and Warriors in Round 1. (HM: Vince Carter avenging his 2001 playoff woe by hitting a buzzer beating 3 in the corner to beat the Spurs in Game 3 of Round 1)
2014-15: Warriors-Cavs Finals: As undermanned as Lebron became, this was back when the Warriors were still on the come up as far as deep playoff experience. (HM: Klay Thompson's 37 point quarter, Chris Paul willing the Clippers on one good leg past the Spurs in a classic Game 7 with a last second game winner)
2015-16: Warriors-Cavs Game 7: One for the ages. No further explanation needed. (A few HMs, this season was amazing: the entirety of Steph Curry's season, Kobe's 60 point finale, Klay Thompson's WCF Game 6 Flash Flood at OKC (11 3PTs) to force Game 7, D-Wade delivering (and shutting up Purple Shirt Man) down 3-2 on the road to force Game 7 vs. the Hornets in R1)
2016-17: Russell Westbrook's 50 point, triple-double record breaking comeback + game winner against the Nuggets to end their playoff hopes. That game basically sealed the MVP race. I thought Harden should have won, but there was no way the media would deny Russ after that performance. (HM: Kyrie's game winner against the Warriors on Christmas)
2017-18: Indiana and Boston taking Lebron to the brink and Houston doing the same to the Warriors.
For me, it'd be:
- 2018-19: Dame's casual 37-foot walk-off game-winning, series-clinching buzzer-beater 3-pointer in DPOY candidate Paul George's face to eliminate the Thunder & him giving the cold-blooded goodbye wave to OKC (HMs: Kawhi's 4-bounce Game 7 series-clinching game-winner buzzer-beater vs. Philly to make Joel Embiid cry & that amazing, classic quadruple-OT Game 4 between the Blazers & Nuggets in the 2nd round with a nail-biting finish; just an all-around great playoffs)
- 2019-20: Just "The Bubble" entirely, but I guess more specifically, the Clippers just absolutely collapsing & having the biggest CHOKEJOB in NBA history, not only blowing a 3-1 series lead vs. the Nuggets but also giving up 13, 16, & 19-point 2nd-half leads to do it, with the defining moment being Paul George hitting the side of the backboard on a 3-pt. attempt late in Game 7 (HMs: Luka Doncic's amazing 40+ point triple-double performance that was topped off with his signature dribble-move, step-back, game-winning, buzzer-beater 3-pointer vs. the Clippers in the 1st round, AD's game-winner vs. the Nuggets, & Dame's trio of 60+ point performances that year)
- 2020-21: Dame's jaw-dropping, record-breaking 55-point, 12 made 3-pointers game against the Nuggets in the 1st round where he hit some of the most ridiculous, clutch 3s ever (HMs: the Clippers righting their wrongs a little bit & coming back from 2-3 down against the Mavs & reverse-sweeping the #1 seed Jazz (mostly without Kawhi) after falling down 0-2, to make their 1st WCF in franchise history, their 1st round series vs.
LeBron Game 6 vs Celtics and Game 5 vs Pistons
People say he’s not “not clutch in last 2 minutes”
He’s definitely clutch when facing elimination
People forget clutch doesn’t just mean last 2 minutes
If you’re down 3-2, and you show up with 40 plus, that’s clutch
E Izzle don’t bring up that game. It was probably the worst I’ve ever felt as a Celtics fan
thank you. a guy hits a buzzer beater 3 and people call him clutch even tho he was 0-7 before the shot and was shooting 35% from the field
Against an old ass Celtics yeha really impressive
@@andylee6147 that "old ass" celtics was still looked at as title contenders back in 2012. You sound like a nigga who didn't even watch the game back then
As a Knicks fan, it has to be Linsanity. But specifically when he hit the dagger in Toronto to seal the game.
LeBron & Kyrie Going For 41 Points Each In Game 5 Against The Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals
Escobar Montana I'm a warriors fan but that series in general gave me so much respect for Irving
And kyrie saving brons ass in game 7 yeah
Reggie Miller dropping back to back 3s on the Knicks in Game1
T-Mac dropping 13 in 33 seconds
Kobe with 48 and 16 to close out the Kings in 2001 with Shaq fouled out
Kobe faking out the entire New Orleans Hornets team to seal the game en route to a 42 pt 12 assist night in 2013, I was there live and the Hornets were rolling up by 25 then the Lakers just came back because he refused to lose and Dwight Howard played great as well. I couldn't believe the entire Hornets team forgot which basket they were supposed to be defending lol.
1: Ray Allen stepping over Tyron Lue in Game 1 of the 2001 NBA Finals.
2: De'Andre Jordan slamming it home against Brandon Knight. (Tell me with a straight face that that wasn't the most savage shit!)
3: Russell Westbrook's game winner against the Denver Nuggets to ensure averaging a triple double in 2017.
BANG! Oh, what a shot from Curry!"
8: Vince Carter's performance in the Dunk Contest.
9: James Harden getting concussed by Ron Artest being Ron Artest.
10: LeBron James' "Cleveland! This is for you!" speech.
Who remembers when the Hawks won 19 straight in 2015? Good times... Good times.
Deandre Jordan dunk on Brandon Knight, perfect dunk, perfect call
1. Kobe Bryant 81 point and his 60 point
2. Westbrook game winning shot after broken the record for the most triple double in a season
3.Artest three on the Celtics game 7 of the nba finals
4. Cavs won there first nba championship
5. Mavs 2011 championship
6.tmac 13 points in 33 seconds
My top 5 favorite moments
1. Game 7 of the NBA Finals 2010
2. Game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals
3. Christmas Day 2017
4. Mamba Day (Kobe’s last game)
5. Kobe’s 81 point game
CLEAN ASS INTRO DOM.
I'm too young of an NBA fan to have any moments other than "The Block", because I only started paying attention in 2014 cause of 2K14.
Dewayne Grant same
My fav moments are Steph Curry almost half court shot vs OCK, Steph Curry revenge shot on Kyrie in game 5 in the 2017 nba finals, This is a bad memory but very rememberable The block/The Kyrie Irving shot.
Dude please keep doing this series it’s so chill & informal it’s great to listen to. I actually found myself verbally responding & agreeing lol
Being a Kobe and T-Mac fan my 2 favorite moments were Kobe’s 60 and T-Macs 13 points in 33 seconds
Westbrook game-winner against the nuggets. Huge thunder fan and that insane three was just the greatest thing ever for me
Brady Katler same, Especially the 25 point comback vs the Jazz
Yo I've seen all these live The block was for sure the best thing
In 2013 nba finals my family was all watching game 6 and I remember being so sad after the shot
IF YOU DONT FINISH THE GREATNESS PLAYOFF SERIES OF ALL TIME damn you playing
Joshua Bostic yea no shit. I’ve finished that twice
1) AI stepping over Tyron Lue
2) LeBron literally jumps over a Celtics player and dunks it
3) Ray Allen saves LeBron's career
4) Kevin McHale kills Kurt Rambis
5) Jordan comes out of retirement
6) Stockton hits his game 6 three
7) Shawn Kemp murders Alton Lister
8) AI's practice rant
9) Vince Carter 360 dunks it
10) Chris Childs punches Kobe
Wyatt Corbin out of curiosity, how old are u mate
The greatest 1-2 punch in NBA history doesn't go to a do. It goes to Chris Childs.
I know I’m mad late but one of my favs is when Corey Brewer decimated Derek Fisher on a fast break dunk
Please GOAT playoff series come back!!! I can’t wait for the 3rd episode
1) CP3 game winner against the spurs while he was with the clippers in the playoffs
2) Lebron game 7 block
3) Ray Allen game saving 3
4) Lebron game winner vs magic back in 2009
5) Blake Griffins dunk contest
Now let me explain each memory since in my opinion it’s all out of wack.
1:I’m a clippers fan and always getting beat by the spurs was basically tradition at this point. I remember that this game was on the same day as a mayweather fight and everyone left to go watch. I stayed in and watched my clippers fight in game 7 to finally beat our bullies
2: clearly not fond of the warriors being a clippers fan and just watching the bandwagons get beat will forever live with me, and to agree with Dom, Lebron came out of nowhere
3: my dad and I watched this game together and just the reactions we had was just amazing
4: the shot that got me Into basketball honestly
5: Blake griffin being my favorite player, I loved watching him showcase his athleticism
You should start a podcast Dom
One of my favorite memories is game 4 of the 2008 NBA Finals. That 24+ point comeback by the Celtics led by some clutch shots by Ray, Posey, and Eddie House
To cap it off I loved and still think about that little hesitation move Ray put on Sasha Vujacic that completely froze him !
My favorite moment was when Dom uploaded the greatest playoff series of all time part 3...
Man mines to
I was living in Miami during that 2013 Finals.
Old man strength 😂 I remember that, Harden choked like a dog that series. 🤦🏽♂️ you think he's made up for it since then?
The Block from LeBron.. I had the same reaction as you. I also didn't see him. He just came out of nowhere and it was just unreal.
Derrick Rose winning mvp. A kid from my city plays for my city and makes us proud
Curry’s ridiculous season, and that game against okc
Kobe’s last game. I actually shed a tear or two with his last few shots. He was his old self, one last time.
KD going crazy when Russ went down, and that game winner against the hawks
Young Lebron hitting the game winner against the magic.
Here's some of the prominant memories:
5) Stephen Curry impossible game-winner in New Orleans (1st Round, Game 3, 2015)
- I am a huge Pelicans fan, and watching this game we just looked so much more lively than the first two games.
4) Kevin Durant's game-winner in Cleveland (NBA Finals, Game 3, 2017)
- This shot just bewildered me.
3) Stephen Curry's game-winner in Oklahoma City (Regular Season, 2016)
- There really isn't anything to say about this. Stupid incredible.
2) LeBron James' block (NBA Finals, Game 7, 2016)
- The only reason this is not number one, is because I wasn't actually surprised by this moment.
1) Kyrie Irving's game-winner (NBA Finals, Game 7, 2016)
- This shot has to be the greatest shot I've seen live.
Not NBA but as a die hard MTSU fan, my excitement watching them upset michigan state a few years ago was unmatched
2016 was the most amazing season that i have ever witness hands down (including an amazing offseason)
Especially when iggy hit those clutch free throws
The most impactful to me was the ray allen 3 and the caveliers comeback! I wasn't the biggest NBA fan before those moments and I've been hooked ever since lol
As a Spurs fan 2013 will always haunt me
Yep, I refuse to watch anything related to the 2013 finals, whether they replay the any of the games or a video about it.
Even a little mention of it I’ll skip it.
@@walrus3132 LOL
There's so many. Ron Artest hitting the 3 in game 7 of the finals, Kobe hitting the game winner on Phx, Fisher with .4 sec wins the game, (if you haven't figured out, I'm a Laker fan) the 2011 championship when Marion made the hook shot on James and started mouthing off, Kobes farewell I legit cried, hell this year when Rozier hit the 3 to take the lead then Middleton tied it up to force overtime. There's a lot I'm leaving off but it's the best sport in the world
I've got a few that are a bit obscure:
2. Lebronto, Game 2 in 2018 - the entire 4th quarter ("he's hotter than fish grease" is one of my all-time favorite calls)
Lebron’s game 7 block to lock the game and Kobe’s comeback in his final game were both crazy moments I saw live that I really enjoyed.
That Boston Celtics game as a fan i remember it because that was the game Ray Allen broke the three point record and a couple days before that we aquired Jeff green and nenad kristic for nate Robinson and Kendrick Perkins which that trade still aggravates me
The entire 2012-2013 season is my favorite moment everything about it was perfect
The sequence of mj comin from behind Malone goin the length of the floor and hitting his shot as a bull
@Dom aye I like your new series. Keep it up big fella!!!
These barbershop videos are dope
Man all of my memories as a Thunder fan are painful but my favorite nba memories are: LeBron block on iggy, Ray Allen’s 3, Thunder finals run, win over Spurs in 2016 wcsf
My favorite moment in my time watching the nba was in 2010 in the wcf game 6 when Kobe had hit that fadeaway three in, I think, Grant Hill’s face and then right after dapping up Alvin Gentry after literally killing the suns
Personally hands down the 15-16 finals im not even a cavs fan but i was rooting for them in the series and when they went down and everyone was saying oh it’s impossible I agreed but when they came back I remember how happy I was it was just sooo crazy.
who remembers buggin out when Lillard hit the three to knock the Rockets out of the playoffs? what a shot!
Most of these are recent because I'm only 12 and only been actively watching da NBA since 2014
I can listen to this beat all day
my favorite nba moment is the 2018 christmas game between the celtics and sixers. Watching kyrie destroy philly was great, i was screaming!
Game 7 2016 as a Warriors fan that is a stinger especially with so many opportunities to win that game but that block basically ended everything. Would've won that series if not for suspensions and injuries but we got 2 more "rings" and lost in 2019, I think we go what we deserved in 3 rings.
TMAC'S 13 in 35. I was 7 and that game was on of the first games I cared about watcher for the NBA.
The moment I was most excited was Kyrie game 7 three on Curry. My favorite was Dennis Schröder’s dunk on Serge Ibaka.
My top 4 memories of NBA games
1.Reggie Miller- Game #1 1995 NBA Eastern Conference Semi-Finals: 8 points in 9 seconds
2.Michael Jordan -Game #1 1992 Finals
3. Michael Jordan- Game 5 NBA Finals: The flu game
Tmacs famous comeback
I remember watching kobe’s last game and falling asleep at half time. I woke up right when he was going on his run, late in the 4th. i’m a kobe fan, so when he hit that last shot and the free throws to give him 60 points.. i almost cried man 😭 favorite player of all time 🙌🏾
My favorite memories:
1.) 2010 FInals Game 7, finals seconds Lakers up 4, Pau with the rebound, outlet pass to Kobe and announcer going "its over, the Lakers repeat, back to back NBA Champions" and then Kobe standing on the scorers table celebrating
2.) 2017 Finals game 3 Cavs up 1, LeBron pass to Korver for 3, he misses and KD with the rebound and he brings the ball up the floor and pulls up for 3 and nails the game winner
3.) Steph Curry's 46 point game against OKC including the game winner from near half court
4.) Kobe dropping 60 points in the last game of his career including hitting the last 5 shots in a row
Eerie.
Darius Nolan
"Career saving"
Uncle Sterling Jebediah Archer Freeman the Fourth I know I sound a lot like Skip Bayless but if that shot doesn't go in Lebron has a completely different legacy.
Darius Nolan so true.
Darius Nolan so three points by a player who scored 9 total in the game is going to have a major impact Bron's legacy
Back then I didn't have tnt or TH-cam TV or anything like that so I would just watch highlights of games so eventually me and my family for TH-cam TV and the first game I ever saw was Kawhi Leanards career high of 45pts and I found this mind blowing for some reason
My 2 favorite memories would be :
Watching Kobe in 2013 play the GSW on the day he tore his Achilles.
Derrick Rose dunking on Dragic or him finishing a layup with LeBron and D Wade all over him.
I liked your description of the block
My most fav moment, When Robert Horry hit the game winner in game 4 of the 02 WCF against Sacramento. Thank you Vlade Flop Divac for knocking the ball right to him.
My favorite nba moment was 2011 nba season when Derrick Rose mvp I am bulls so this season hurt to get beat in 5 to lebron
Dwyane wade's spin move dunk vs the thunder in the 2011
The block in iggy was the greatest play I’ve ever seen in history
dame dolla’s game winning buzzer beater against the rockets during the 2014 playoffs, man we saw that live and all of my friends were shook af.
Love this series bruh
