    In other words, my KC-390 freighter is superior in some aspects to the C-130 and comparable to the C-130J, in addition to national components, it has components from commercial aircraft, consequently reducing the cost of operation, acquisition and maintenance.

    Well, one was made to work in any terrain, short runaways, dirty... Brazil wouldn't buy a C-2. It is a great plane, but not for us...

      Yeah, most of what the Brazilian Air Force does as a uniformed service is related to either some sort of rescue mission after the environmental catastrophes global warming is causing or control of cross-border contraband. So if you can't do shitty runways, you can't do those jobs.

    Essa comparação limita-se ao design e alguns aspectos de performance. No mais, são 02 aeronaves bem diferentes em que pese a forma e o objetivo operacional de cada modelo. E mais, o KC390 foi desenvolvido com um objetivo bem claro, ser a nova proposta global para transportador tático/estratégico de capacidade média, feito para atender aos mais distintos requisitos operacionais das inúmeras forças aéreas. Da mesma forma como o bem sucedido C130 fez ao longo de sua fantástica carreira. O modelo japonês parece perder nesse quesito, pois parece não competir na busca por novos operadores, custo de aquisição e tamanho, limitando a aceitação desse projeto no mercado militar.

    americano como sempre tentando sabotar o brasil....são aviões com diferentes propósitos. O kc-390 pode aterrizar e decolar com terrenos irregulares, com terra....o c2 nao consegue fazer isso.

      C-2の開発時の日本の防衛省からの要求には「不整地での運用」と盛り込まれてなかった。しかし、それより困難な短距離離陸性能を求められたので、実際には不整地滑走路であってもKC390よりも高い能力を発揮します。

      El C2 ya ha volado muchas veces a Sudan , Turkia , Afganistán para servicios de emergencias. Ahorita 24 unidades en servicios.

      @@tulun4284 You are correct. The C2 flew in 2010 and the KC 390 flew in 2015. I was unaware of this fact, my bad.

      KC390はC-1に似ていますね。C-1は川崎重工業が1970年に飛行させました。KC390は大きさも性能もC-1の改良型と言っていいほど似ています。
