Hi @Rodarose, yes! It's a hit and miss sometimes but I recommend you visit during winter like november or december because cloud formation is less during winter and humidity is low . Autumn is also good. Best time to go in the morning like around 7am to 10am so be sure you set your alarm clock! You don't want to miss that perfect time to see the Majestic Mt. Fuji!. Stay tuned for our next posts. :)

Hi, this video was taken during this spring season - April - cherry blossoms season. Pretty much raining the last week of March when we came but eventually luck came the first week of April when the mountain appeared for the first time - it was breath taking. If seeing Mount Fuji is one of your main goals when visiting Japan, then we recommend visiting around December and January during autumn to winter season to get the best views of of the mountain and its peak unobstructed by clouds. Please note also that the best time of the day to spot the mountain is early morning between 7.00am to 10.00am, so be sure to set that alarm clock! You definitely don't miss this chance especially if it's your first time visitor.
If you want to see Mount Fuji from Tokyo, you need to know that the mountain’s appearance varies significantly by season. It is visible from Tokyo on many days between November and February, while very rarely between April and August. Definitely, the chances of seeing the mountain are also relatively low in September and its typhoon season.
Mount Fuji is synonymous with Japan itself and a must-see for pretty much every tourist and traveler.
Knowing the best and worst timings for Mount Fuji visibility does drastically increase the chances of making the most out of your Mount Fuji experience!

Hello. Can we visit Oishi Park early morning even if the cafe is still closed? Thank you.

Hi @gene4012 , yes this area Oishi Park is open any time of the day. There's no gate or anything like it. It is really recommended to visit in the morning than late at night because there are no light posts in the evening and it is very dark . Check out this other video we have th-cam.com/video/92VjGpfvHCo/w-d-xo.html.
Happy Watching! More posts coming in so stay tuned :)
      Thank you.

Does anyone know if it is ok to visit mt fuji during winter season? We are planning to visit this december and we are kinda concern if it is doable. Does it snow too much?

Hi, yes one of the best time to visit . You can view Mt Fuji with a clear blue sky. If you really want to see Mt Fuji better go in the morning. Snow happens mostly during January and February.
