Ryan Eggold is so brilliantly cast in this role. Fantastic series which resulted in my marathon watching until I reached the final episode of Season 2.
Love it. All the story lines with different scenario's. Love the fact that there is not a lot of sex in the store rooms. And how they pull the public (patients) into helping to accomplish their goals. Love the cast.
I was kinda afraid of start watching this show, but I just watched the pilot and out of the blue I thought " oh, this is my cup of tea." Good show, guys!
Both shows have their merit. For this severe TBI patient, the episodes that talk about character Meredith Grey’s brain injury, nightmares while comatose, awakening from coma and her recuperation have been extremely truth telling for me. Then you have New Amsterdam’s mantra whose meaning is remarkably close to what Shriner’s patients deal with where every child is treated for the remainder of their childhoods. Both shows ARE viable and desperately needed to light the way to correct for everyone medicine.
Ryan Eggold is an amazing actor you can’t get a better cast of actor than in New Amsterdam and it’s a shame that NBC cancelled them short of a full season 5 we wish them to either come back or do a spin off fans miss them terribly ❤
My mother language is Spanish, I speak fluent English ... I am so curious of how people who speak English with a British accent can speak American English and make it look so easy. I am surprised to hear Janet speak so differently from her character.
I truly like this show it's not like Grey Anatomy the service Max try to give everyone speaks volumes. It's one of caring that's what all hospital suppose to do offer really care.
I'm not a native speaker, but I've seen several comments that her American accent is so good that people don't even notice that she's actually British.
Its crazy, right? Im always surprised on her accent in the show when i previously watch a video of her, but when i watch the show first and then come across w a video of her (like now) her original accent is what surprises me-- And im not even a native British/American Good job Janet^^
i doubt it'll happen, and while i shipped them so much, i'm actually glad. their friendship is so strong recently, and lauren needs stability outside of the hospital
Finally a neat as show that is actually about PEOPLE from all walks of life ....as I was a bit weary at first but yo !!! Took my fancy !! and it ain’t about someone’s who’s who of the beds ...and a nice shout out of the mention of the Tuvaluan people ❤️

I just begun to wash this (January 17 2023) and I can't believe Janet Montgomery how she holds her accent. It is so heavy and very strong. How can she becomes Dr. Bloom and just change it? And Dr. Helen kept hers For me it's really it's fantastic 🪴😎✌🏾
