I am a huge fuzz pedal fan. In my opinion, Fjord fuzz pedals are some of the most amazing instruments available in a pedal. I love all four of my Fjord fuzz pedals. Each fuzz is distinct and have amazing tone.
I really like the simplicity, and the design of the pedal with the two knobs.. if I show up and need to adjust reverb, delay, fuz, on the fly. Simplicity is king. These look cool, I'm excited to try them out!
Ever since I bought a Fenris I became obsessed with Fjord's way of doing things. The design language, the slightly mad approach to circuit development. I will surely be purchasing more in the future. I much prefer old copper plates, but new gold are also very nice.
I love the copper ones and hope, i still can find one when I can afford one. I once read on the homepage of fjord fuzz, that the copperplate is a good indicator that there is still oxygen in the air so i can breathe. I think this is a really important tool to have at home.
i have an Odin myself (bought from Anderton's) and its just incredible. one of my favorites. i also love the copper plate. its corroding a bit now but i don't mind. it just looks cooler. call it "naturally relic'd" lol
When Daniel first started playing through that Fuzz wow , I could get some great Hendrix Tones with that Fuzz without destroying my Amp my Ears or my Neighbours . Really Cool .
That idea of having big controls on the pedal so you can adjust it with your foot while you're playing is a little bit of design genius. Too many pedals have a lot of teeny tiny controls so if you want to use the same pedal to get two different sounds in one set you have to stop and squint at it which isn't ideal

Hey Daniel, its nice to see you playing Dvořák with this crazy fuzz, what a performance! And I appriciate your pronunciation of Czech "Ř", where did you learn it? Greatings from Czech republic!
They Sound amazing but I’m sceptical considering how specific that guitar is he’s using. We need to heard these pedals on different guitars and pick up configurations. Also, the buzzing between playing sounded insanely loud, even for a fuzz pedal.
These are valid concerns! The pickup in the Musicmaster is pretty much like a low output strat pickup, for reference. For HEDDA you could always hear Sasha Ivantic’s demo for it. He’s using way different guitars. Andy Martin has a demo coming up for LOKE and I’m sure he will be using more standard guitars too. As for noise: HEDDA is on par with most of the other pedals in my lineup. Slightly more noisy than FENRIS and ODIN, but quite similar to BERSERK. I’m also absolutely blasting the preamp on that amp, so a lot of the noise is accentuated by that. I could also turn the fuzz down further to kick more of the hiss, but yeah it’s a fuzz pedal, so it will be pretty noisy on its own too, unless you turn the gate knob up a bit!
I suspect the gold option is really brass, which of course is an alloy of copper and zinc. A pedal with a casing of actual gold would be cool though. Barring that, copper or indeed another coinage metal.
It is real gold! One of the cool things about gold is you can stretch it really thin, so it doesn't take much to cover one of those control panels. It isn't pure gold though. It's electroless immersion nickel gold!
I received my Odin a few weeks ago, and was kinda disappointed on the copper plate…because it wasn’t copper anymore…oh well, you can’t satisfy everybody. But in my opinion Mr. Fjord Fuzz should stick to what he likes the most (copper right 😉) It does sound killer, regardless of looks. They sound alive…so they should look alive equally. Keep up the creative work, love it! Take care
Sorry to hear that! If you ever get another Fjord Fuzz and this issue arises, don't hesitate to get in touch! I always fix any pedal of mine, regardless of what happened to it!
Definitely! I also figured out a way to make that process automated, but I haven't found a way to make it consistent, sadly, and I'd have to charge way, way more if I were to spend the time to treat them all!
COPPER COPPER COPPER!! All day long! Give me the mess!! Edit: Low key that Loke pedal is one of the best versions of a time-based, modulated...... guitar thing, I have ever heard and will be saving some $$$ to get one of my own..... ok end rant!
Hi, high! All musical effects are originally at least 30-40-50+ years old! No one has come up with a new concept in forever. It's all just riffing on an old idea since then. Strive to show me and other consumers something innovative! You've got the means. Hopefully 😜😙
Yeah sorry, you're obviously right. I should've said something more along the lines of "there's maybe only one other single pickup, lightweight, small, super short scale yet really well made guitar that sports its single pickup in the neck position", but my brain was too scrambled under the sheer pressure of going online with these gear world legends haha
Had me a ‘63 musicmaster nearly 25 years ago. I’m a lefty so had to string it upside down! The Bastard would never ever stay in tune. Bought and sold it for $600 AUD
My first take away from this video is that i should listen to Dvorak's New World Symphony for the first time. My second take away is that john Williams and George Lucas owe the Dvorak estate a huge roll of cash, because they totally Sheeran'd Dvorak.
Yeah you should! I actually played that piece on a US tour with a symphonic orchestra in my youth and it's one of my sweetest memories sitting in the middle of that sound. Also check out his contemporaries like Grieg (I went to the same school as him!) and Tchaikovsky. The Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto's second movement is where that twin sunset theme from star wars came from I think!
Thanks I suppose, but I can assure you there's way more Norwegian Norwegians than me. After all I'm only about 75% Norwegian, strictly mathematically speaking haha
Hi dear Captain... I sadly have to complain about commercials that lately started interrupting Andertons TV videos... one of the things (not the only one, of course!) I always liked of your videos is that glad "commercials-free" space you but... it seems no more available, sadly... I'm a Mr. Nobody, I count less than nothing for Andertons' successful business and even less than nothing of nothing for the rest of the world, I'm just saying... and I sincerely apologize if I annoyed and/or hurt someone. Best regards.
I got a Fenris from you guys last time you did a video on Fjord Fuzz, then I put a stupid video with it on Instagram and Pete lost like 2 minutes of his life watching it.
COPPER!!!!! Seriously! You MUST keep the COPPER facia! What a bad idea it would be to lose the branding you’ve already created! If the Copper tarnishes, so F*CKING WHAT! That’s what it does!!! Other than the tone, the Copper is what made these pedals look amazing! I will NOT buy a fake gold pedal when a Copper pedal is available somewhere!
Here's a vote for the copper faceplate!
I actually love the natural patina of the copper. It's a material that ages magically, fits the theme too
Agreed! The patina is what makes it!
Dude plays Dvorak’s New World Symphony with an insane fuzz and makes it work as rock ballad. Brilliant! Genuinely inspired by that little performance!
No one sent him the memo that we are Dad Bloos only.
@@unitednihilists 😂 I know right. I can hear the sighs and tuts from here.
That was one of the best moments I've seen on this channel.

I love my lifeless, technical virtuoso, punk ass son! 😢
26:48 “It’s like having the Star in Mario Kart”. Best pedal function description ever.
Copper!!! I love the tarnished look! Amidst a sea of great, cool looking fuzz pedals that would be a selling point for me for sure
I am a huge fuzz pedal fan. In my opinion, Fjord fuzz pedals are some of the most amazing instruments available in a pedal. I love all four of my Fjord fuzz pedals. Each fuzz is distinct and have amazing tone.
Odin has been a mainstay on my board for at least two years! Og på norsk; fyyyy faen så fett at du er her og hos Andy, Daniel!
I really like the simplicity, and the design of the pedal with the two knobs.. if I show up and need to adjust reverb, delay, fuz, on the fly. Simplicity is king. These look cool, I'm excited to try them out!
I bought a Hedda a couple of weeks ago. I love it - it's so good I messaged Daniel to say how happy it made me, which made him happy etc. etc...
Love the copper plate btw. The tarnish is great. I’d pay extra for it if it was made an optional extra.
Ever since I bought a Fenris I became obsessed with Fjord's way of doing things. The design language, the slightly mad approach to circuit development. I will surely be purchasing more in the future. I much prefer old copper plates, but new gold are also very nice.

I got the Fjord Fuzz Fenris, coolest pedal I've ever had!
Somehow this is better than the OG Fjord Fuzz video.
Love hearing the Makers take!
i have an Odin myself (bought from Anderton's) and its just incredible. one of my favorites. i also love the copper plate. its corroding a bit now but i don't mind. it just looks cooler. call it "naturally relic'd" lol
YM "The patina is developing nicely" 😄
Value increasing 💪
That outro jam sounds great👌
Love my Fenris, but I was a little disappointed that the plate isn't copper anymore! I thought that was a super cool feature on the OG Fjord stuff.
Great fuzz pedals. I own an Odin. Sounds insane
I got one of the OG Odins as well. Sounds awesome and the copper looks even better with age.
I have an Odin which i got in 2021 (after the first andertons vid). It's been on the board ever since, great pedal! Also, another vote for copper:)
I have the embla, its the best fuzz ive ever had, so adaptable and fun to use 👌
I bought my Odin based on Pete's reaction in the first video. Love it. Copper for the win.
When Daniel first started playing through that Fuzz wow , I could get some great Hendrix Tones with that Fuzz without destroying my Amp my Ears or my Neighbours . Really Cool .
Copper vote here from me! I have a Berserk mk I with a copper plate, and the corrosion is awesome looking and so personalizing to the pedal
best Outro JAM eva!!!
If one makes a regular (boring-ish) pedal, gold is good, but for these creation machines, patina-ed copper feels more adventurous 🤘🏻
I think the copper looks really nice. Tarnish/verdigris/etc. would just look cool to me.
I'm definitely in the blemished copper camp. If we want relic'd guitars, then we can surely be on board with relic'd pedals too!
Ugh, so happy this video didn't start with your usual screech of feedback, please do more gentle intros like this one!
I've enjoyed following the development of this pedal. Guessing what is was going to be in Instagram :D
Love my Odin!
I have a copper Berserk - love the sound and the look!!
Morning gents! That fuzz is killer. Love me a good fuzzy
Ha! Thanks! Me too!
I've got to try some of these pedals out one day. Heck, I'm from the same city as Daniel, so there's really no excuse! Hahaha
That idea of having big controls on the pedal so you can adjust it with your foot while you're playing is a little bit of design genius.

Hey Daniel, its nice to see you playing Dvořák with this crazy fuzz, what a performance! And I appriciate your pronunciation of Czech "Ř", where did you learn it? Greatings from Czech republic!
Hey, thanks! I mean, I grew up playing classical music and that’s how I always heard it pronounce by my teachers!
My favourite guitar would be a Mustang with just a humbucker in the bridge. I have seen this one and I would love that also… so special.
They Sound amazing but I’m sceptical considering how specific that guitar is he’s using. We need to heard these pedals on different guitars and pick up configurations. Also, the buzzing between playing sounded insanely loud, even for a fuzz pedal.

Copper's the way to go. I have a Fenris with the copper cover and it is gorgeous!
Haven't played any of his pedals but I love originality
Copper looks cool each one would feel unique 👌
Copper for me as well but the gold does look really good and doesn’t irritate people so I understand going with it
Awesome pedals!! Can you still get the bifrost? Can’t find it on your website 😩
I wonder if he named the company after that Hot Fuzz film he made. Certainly a talented individual
He does look a bit like Edgar - just as talented too
I'm a huge fan of copper and it's beautiful patina. Copper!!
I had the Bersek 2 and the EMBLA…the EMBLA was so noisy with my rig. Never saw that !!!! Had to sold it sadly but the tone was awesome 😢
Sorry to hear that! If you ever get another Fjord Fuzz and this issue arises, don't hesitate to get in touch! I always fix any pedal of mine, regardless of what happened to it!
How did you like the berserk V2? You don't have it anymore?
Where does Andertons find these pedal geniuses 👍🏿😳😊
And they shouldn’t stop… always a joy!!!
Honestly, yeah, I'd go for the copper. Need those lived-in miles to show!
I just looked up the word Fjord like 3 hours ago while reading a Michael Moorcock book.
I have the odin v2 which is amazing. Mine has the gold finish but I would have preferred copper.
There are ways to stop Copper from Tarnishing and Oxidizing , you can Wax it or use a Clear Coat of Spray Paint
Definitely! I also figured out a way to make that process automated, but I haven't found a way to make it consistent, sadly, and I'd have to charge way, way more if I were to spend the time to treat them all!
I LOVE THESE! I have the odin and the berserker; amazing!
I like copper, but maybe make it an option that you can pick. Or buy a second plate cover if you change your mind.
COPPER COPPER COPPER!! All day long! Give me the mess!!
Edit: Low key that Loke pedal is one of the best versions of a time-based, modulated...... guitar thing, I have ever heard and will be saving some $$$ to get one of my own..... ok end rant!
Jesus F...Daniel's guitplay is off the screen! Besides the coolness of his pedals, which is a given...
Crazy pedals
What's the tune that they're jamming on at the end?
It’s just part of a song I made years ago and never released! Thanks for listening!
Hi, high! All musical effects are originally at least 30-40-50+ years old! No one has come up with a new concept in forever. It's all just riffing on an old idea since then. Strive to show me and other consumers something innovative! You've got the means. Hopefully 😜😙
A verdigris covered finish is much groovier than a shiny, clinical, gold one if you ask me.
I vote for the copper, and with the tarnishing thing it looks like vintage.
sounds okay I guess. Cool designs
have the Embla with copper faceplate. Has aged beautifully. Like the "used" look
What about Frei and Freia. Still there?
whats the name of the ending songs, it sounds so familiar!
There was tons of entry level jazz guitars with 1 neck pickup
Yeah sorry, you're obviously right. I should've said something more along the lines of "there's maybe only one other single pickup, lightweight, small, super short scale yet really well made guitar that sports its single pickup in the neck position", but my brain was too scrambled under the sheer pressure of going online with these gear world legends haha
@@FjordFuzz oh i see, yea its defenitly a niche product
Love the copper but the Gold is less headaches for the builder. 🤷🏻♂️
What a fascinating dude
Haha thanks. I was worried how I was going to come across. Definitely out of my comfort zone!
I have berserk v2, tone like no other.
All I'm hearing is a delay into a Roland Jazz Chorus with the (otherwise unusable) onboard distortion turned up
I like the copper, like the sound unpredictable
