West Oz Rocker - Actually I was thinking Chris Cheney could take over from Keith and Ronnie his guitar is brilliant, unfortunately Keith and Ronnie sound a little too flimsy and thin for my liking. Rather than sitting in for Mick, Chrissie and Mick could have one hell of a duet with Chris providing that great guitar pumping this Stones classic along beautifully.
Yes!!!!!!!! To all comments......This was pure GREATNESS!! Such an empty void with her gone. Sexy, sulttry and sweet with a sense of humor and the voice of a rock Goddess. And when I hear people talk about being brave in the celebrity world...Chrissy was the BRAVEST!!!
This is a brilliant rendition! Chrissy's vocals are so well suited (I think), Chris cool as always, just great. Thanks for sharing. RIP Chrissy Amphlett.
This is one of the best stones songs on beggars banquet sounds so cool with chrissy singing. I've been listening to her speak on interviews. She seems to have been a sweet person as well as creative ,something rare in the world of music entertainment.. I love her even more
Oh Chrissy, I had the biggest school kid crush on you, that turned into a teenage crush then matured into a young adult crush and continued onto a crush for all time. Sadly missed you where great to watch and listen to through out my life.
A legend in the flesh that would be gone much, much too soon. Chrissy shows that she's definitely got what it takes to steal everybody's heart with a memorable performance. Love the way she wants to instinctively cut in with some gorgeous harmony at 1:09. They probably rehearsed a bit, if at all, and winged it for the most part with epic results. Kinda wish she had recorded more covers like this one as well as her own material...oh well. Chrissy was dealing with the symptoms of MS which would finally be confirmed with a diagnosis Jan 2006 only a short time after this appearance.
Even towards the very end The Late Chrissy Amphlett still had it. I saw her in The Divynyls back In January 1986 and December 1987, and she and her band were brilliant. R.I.P.
can that man play or what,,,,love his version of while my guitar gently weeps,,just awsome,,and christy,,,sounding as good as ever,,,gone way too soon,,,RIP gorgeous lady
How come none of the commenters saw fit to mention the RockWiz Orkestra? You have James Black, Mark Ferrie, and Peter Luscombe. These blokes are mentionable in the same sentence as Amphlett, and ahead of Cheyney.
I'm going for the first time to a Living End concert and taking my 16 y.o. who is in a band (drummer) and it's his first concert and he is going to be blown away and he will see Cold Chisel and Something for Kate wow. 3 MONTHS time can't wait
Chris Cheney , One of the great guitarists and performers in OZ ... and Chrissy , THE greatist rock queen ever ,beautifull, sassy, classy . R.I.P sweetheart and thanks for the memories .
JohnnyMFan...Yeah, a real kickass performance and always fun to revisit. I think this would be toward the end of 2005 with Chrissy coming back to Australia to promote the release of her autobiography. The show is called RocKwiz and it featured an amazing house band plus featured guests from the top ranks of Aussie talent. Chris Cheney is ranked among the best in the world and plays his Gretsch like a man possessed. Check out his version of Helter Skelter. His band The Living End had a self titled album that was #1 on the ARIA album charts. They're punkish but execute with amazing technical skill and imagination and a double bass....not something you see in many punk bands. You might want to check out ''Prisoner of Society'' and ''All Torn Down''. I've only just begun to explore this band and it may not be everybody's cup of tea but I kinda like what I hear.
Chrissy was an amazing vocalist. It was a huge loss to the industry when she passed. Chrissy, we remember you!
She was a real Gem to the Australian music Industry!!
Never mind the “industry” ffs…😤 -How about nearest, dearest & all those outside the circus…🎪
I am a Stones fanatic, this is the best cover of one of their tracks I've ever heard
i absolutely agree ....!
Mike this may be controversial but I reckon she could have sat in for mick for one night and really rocked with the stones

I'm glad Melbourne, Australia named a boulevard after her: Amphlett Blvd.!
@Warren552011 thanks, I might relocate www.canberratimes.com.au/story/6069144/streets-in-moncrieff-to-be-named-after-famous-musicians/
Tears i cry. This woman. Talent up the wahzoo. 🇦🇺❣️
Side note...

Movie Lover here. Fact.
In a show that has dozens of brilliant duets, this is surely number 1!! The performance is electric!!
Makes me get all misty eyed listening to this. Chrissie you were a treasure

They broke the mold when Chrissy was born... one of a kind.
Oh Chrissy, I had the biggest school kid crush on you, that turned into a teenage crush then matured into a young adult crush and continued onto a crush for all time. Sadly missed you where great to watch and listen to through out my life.

It's such a great song that it seems it looks good with everyone.
R.I.P Chrissie, love you babe.
At The music festival Narara 84 there was a bit of a brawl between Christina and Hynde from the Pretenders. I know who I would have backed!
Karen Saville then hynde covered human in the inside and It was a pale imitation sure was
She was a trooper till the end. Sadly missed in Australian music.
Excellent Video and Combo Performance of Stray Cat Blues.

Excellent! 👍👍
Better than the stones…
This is a good cover, but the OG off the record is heaps better. The guitars are dirtier and what makes it is Jagger's menace.
