Pink, as well as Kings and Queens would be two good ones that veer from the usual Aerosmith suspects. I love Pink - lots of cool chords, and nearly anyone can do the rhythm chords without too much effort. Kings and Queens is such so layered with slower and faster parts, but is also doable with chords. I can’t play like Perry, but it’s fun to try!
Thanks Marty, I just want to say how grateful I am to see you on TH-cam and the other guys that try to help us guys that want to learn to play guitar!! I truly suck at guitar!
One way street / King and Queens / Lick and a Promise / Adams apple / Big ten inch record / Sick as a dog (The real) Round and Round !!! Round and Round has a great rhythm behind the solo . J Perry ? I think ? Great job Marty . again
I had Aerosmith tickets!!! I am bummed. I haven't seen them since the 1980s. They had just gotten back together. There was only about 5,000 people at the Richfield Coliseum in Cleveland. Crazy. It was so loud my ears rang for three days. I remember Steven Tyler screaming Dream On. He would hocker all over the stage😂 It was gross, but girls were still coming on stage, dressed in barely anything. It is amazing his pipes lasted 50 years after all the screaming, smoking, booze, and drugs. Thanks for the lesson. Dream On!!
Thanks, marty seen Aerosmith at the very first hash festival in Ann arbor Michigan I believe it was 73! And I told my friend this band's going to go to the top!
Thanks for this one, Marty. I learned it back around 1987, during a submarine patrol. It's a great song to brush up.... Rock On, Guitar Friends! 🤟🎸🍺🥃🍻👽🧑🌾
Great interpretation of the beginning on a single guitar. On the original recording it’s a piano and guitar playing double stops layered over each other so it’s actually much simpler that way.
Great lesson Marty feels like an end of an era I was lucky enough to see them several times that's such a cool Norlin Custom I have a RD Artist 1978 took out the moog electronics wired like a Les Paul its a big maple beast big fan of Gibson Norlin stuff 👏👍🤘👽
Now maybe we can all get back to listening to Joe play now that pesky Steven Tyler is out of the way. Joe has " DREAMED " of this day their entire career. But anywho Back in the Saddle, Toys in the Attic, or Last Child you pick my good friend!! P.S. I absolutely adore this channel thankyou for all your efforts its much appreciated sir!!
Got a request Marty.. How about all the lead parts to, Keep your hands to yourself, Georgia Satellites. Not much out there that are accurate, mostly just people noodling in Am. Thanks!
Is this Joe Perry? I was just one of the ones that dick Wagner or Steve Hunter contributed to? I know the two Alice Cooper guys definitely played on train kept the rolling but I couldn't remember the history on dream on Marty
Injury ⁉️ he snorted enough coke to cover Peru a thousand times over ‼️ It's a miracle that he could carry those notes as long as he did. Imagine if he didn't do anything, how he would have sung ‼️
Why not there's some good stuff on her material thanks to the late great Andrew gold. Try playing the solo to you're no good her version it's pretty amazing when you break it down.
“Jaded” please. Great song from back in the day.👍. Ragdoll was also another classic.
Back in the day . . . I remember when it was new Aerosmith lol. And others would say the same about the Pump album.

I saw Aerosmith in Houston in 1984. They put on a great show. I used to go to a lot of concerts and it was up there among the best.
"It's a great tune, and a classic song".. Hell yes it is. Another great choice, thanks.
Thanks for this one, Marty. I learned it back around 1987, during a submarine patrol. It's a great song to brush up.... Rock On, Guitar Friends! 🤟🎸🍺🥃🍻👽🧑🌾

Thanks Marty! I remember No More No More being fun to holler along to, it's got some ascending/ descending fairly easy stuff in it.
I agree! It's got a little tricky stuff but overall not too bad, and it's fun to play. Such an iconic piece of music!

What is year is this LP ? I see its a wide biding version. Very cool to see a black beauty with chrome hardware
It's a 1981. Norlin era. They did some cool chrome hardware versions under Norlin. It has the old school flip out tuners too!
how about the live version of Come Together - Live bootleg
Is this Joe Perry?
I was just one of the ones that dick Wagner or Steve Hunter contributed to?
I know the two Alice Cooper guys definitely played on train kept the rolling but I couldn't remember the history on dream on Marty
Not sure 🤷. I placed his name in the title just for search engine optimization. I thought it kinda had that Perry feel to it in parts.
