I think the scumbird is very cool. The black swan is coming back to life and looking pretty good and BTW I would rather polish a turd than play golf and I live across from a golf course. LOL
So glad you are still working on the car.
Yep, it's been crazy hot here and lots of other things going on. So I've been kinda slow on the cars. But I plug along when I can
It's said the the Devil makes work for idle hands. The Devil didn't get you buddy great job.
The paint shined up pretty good. Mythbusters actually did an episode on polishing a turd. The answer they came up with was yes.
Working on an "as clean as it can be" car seems a little more comfortable, more viscerally rewarding. I think you'll be happy you sweated the buffer.
The car I learned to drive in, my mom had one around 1986, standard Trans. Used to drive it around neighborhood when I was like 8 or 9. Car was about wore out way back then. Lol
RWD H body Sunbirds were all over the Chicago area in late 70s to 1989-ish, then J car version took over, now most gone. There is a dealer video for 1980 Sunbird on YT, with the base model shown having same wheel covers. The '79 grille was different with horizontal chrome line in it. Checked Google images.
We had both, the H body when we got married, the a J body the year after, both in the Chicago area. Both rotted away 😆
The sunbird has a few rays left in it.
@@flatbrokegarage I think you're onto something here. There will be other people doing this type of car.
Well working on a clean car can’t hurt right? And you have to keep Mrs Flat Broke Garage happy right?
Missed ya pal. There is nothing boring about your videos...keep em coming. It's like a soap opera
At least I won't "lose the shop"
