For a continuation you could have goku intimidate raditz after he learns they are brothers and go super Saiyan to get raditz to calm down. Then have Vegeta and nappa come to check it out and learn to live on earth so they can kill frieza. Thus making a stronger cell to show up during the Android saga.
One problem with this plot and it's the biggest one. Cell has already show up, I mean this entire what if is about Cell go too far back in time and present Cell should be awaken around the end of Z if he wasn't getting obliterated by Krillin and Trunks in main timeline.

Wouldnt he go to sleep and wait for the andriods to be created like he did in the original timeline rather than blowing the earth up..? 3. If kid goku couldnt last in the Hyperbolic time chamber, how would krillin and the others? 4.) How are Dragonball characters not getting one shot by Cell a being even in his base form is as strong as Frieza. 5.) Why would Goku turn super saiyan from roshi dying? Krillins death isnt soley what allowed Goku to turn Super saiyan aginst freiza. It was also his experience and power level. Which he lacks severely it seems in your story.

The power of supreme kai we know is less then dabura and so he definitely would be able to hang with Imperfect Cell, Piccolo was around the same strength as cell after fusing with kami so there's a bit of powerscaling there. 2. Cell would still want to become perfect, but he also has saiyan and friezas DNA, Cell would think of this oppurtunity as a way to seize perfection of the moment, killing everyone on earth means that there is nobody that can stop him once he kills frieza himself. 3. Given the extreme circumstances, the 4 warriors would spend 2 years straight in the time chamber, and will themselves to withstand the extreme environments of the time chamber. 4. This is a bit of plot, I know that cell should be WAY stronger than all these characters, but they did spend 2 years straight in the time chamber together. 5. This is true, but it isn't explicately stated that there is a certain powerlevel needed to achieve super saiyan, if Goten could do it at the age of 7, who says Goku can't here? Can you Imagine if this story dose continue that ones the Buu saga comes around cell will make his return to mostly be used by shin and the z fighters to fight off Buu with them as a last resort maybe even going as far as cell completely absorbing Buu and in a way giving himself his own infinite energy engine without the need of the androids and of course making cell an even more dangerous threat as a result of it but that depends on if this story does continue that is as I’m sure goku with ssj3 even without otherworld training would defeat cell if cell ever tries anything cuz I think sense goku has Ssj earlier I imagine he can possibly get ssj3 before the Buu arc still and maybe even mastering it to make the form more useful for whenever threats like cell comes around on earth again

Why would Roshi’s death have caused Kid Goku to somehow go Super Saiyan? 3. What happened to Chiaotzu? 4. How would Goku know about King Piccolo? 5. Wouldn’t Tambourine have encountered Cell when he went for the dragon ball and list of martial artists?

Could be, we don’t actually know when majin buu was buried. I also think that the egg would likely be destoryed if earth was as well.
