Community Led Innovation: A Case Study of The Community Grocer

In 2023, The Community Grocer went viral for its revolutionary business model that allows SNAP recipients to utilize their benefits for what becomes a hot meal through radical partnerships and collaboration. Although the title of the viral article was "Penn Grads find SNAP hack" the true story of The Community Grocer is the story of a community coming together, of radical collaboration, and the understanding that the solutions to the problems we wish to solve is within all of our communities.
