Puerto Rico is an absolute GEM!! You have to experience it for yourself to understand how priceless and precious and delicate the island is. The unfortunate part is that Puerto Rico is in Hurricane Alley that starts off West Africa and makes is way across the Atlantic. But we cannot let that natural issue stop us from exploring and falling in love over and over again. Thank you Jon and friends for giving us this wonderful glimpse of Puerto Rican Paradise!

You took me back to the future and took me to my childhood when I used to visit all the same places you visited. And 5 years I go I went to visit my family and went to Puerta Ventana and it is a breathtaking place. I felt like Indiana Jones when they had no tours, just me, my family and flashlights because is very dark in some places. Thank for your video!

What a fun and full itinerary even though you only just scratched the surface. I am glad you ventured far from San Juan though. La isla has many treasures. We often go explore them and make videos too. I need to see a few of these though, like Cueva Ventana and La Planta. I have a question for Cristian about La Planta falls. I want to see all three of the big ones. I see two in this video, but how do you get to the 3rd one that you can slide down? And also I need to stop by that Speakeasy. We pass it all the time on our way home to Rincon (where you missed the best snorkeling and surfing on the island!)

I remember having memories on Cueva Ventana. My aunt lives 6 mins away from there and as kids we used to go there all the time. Years ago not a lot of people knew about this place and it was free to get in, until it became more popular and they started getting profit from it sadly.😪

It's good they charge something , they used the money to keep it clean and in order.
He said you'd see a lot of churches, and me thinking he was talking about Church's Chicken nodded in agreement because it's also true.
Seriously. Most Burger King places will have a Church's Chicken nearby, and the Pechusandwich (chicken breast filet sandwich) is like 300% better than any menu item Church's has in the mainland.

When I was in the 3rd grade in Puerto Rico my English teacher would tell us to remember to go to church..... I thought she was talking about the chicken place. I would tell my parents "Hey, my English teacher said we need to go to church n grab some chicken" It wasn't until we moved to Massachusetts and I learned English that I realized what the f#$% she was talking about 😅😂

Fell in love with all the beaches and the rainforest first time there was blessed to swim with the sea turtles all the amazing fish my husband and I got into the waterfalls in the rainforest loved it was a great blessing

just bought tickets for July... got the best deal i've ever had, $336 round trip, insurance included, from San Francisco Ca to San Juan.... i usually wait for prices to dip below $500, plus the layovers are reasonable...total flight time 13 hours... looking forward to trying out some of the bars viewed on this video ( i've been to the beaches here already )... thanks and good luck on your travels...

It's been 10 years that I been there to visit my family from Ponce. I will be leaving soon with my sister to see our Mom who is very old but Thank God my sisters who also live with my Mom take very good care of her. I would love to site see some area but we're going out there to visit Mom and hang out with my sister's so I'm ok with that. So proud of our culture and our beautiful traditions and the foods are amazing too. Can't wait to connect with my culture again. God Bless our Mother land 🙏 ❤
