Another entertaining video. It's kind of cool how you're finding these older projectors and testing them out, opening some people's eyes as to what's actually acceptable. Funny how you say you're rambling and your videos are too long...... and then I think about mine being an hour long. I need to work on that

Longer content isn't bad, I know I'll watch long form videos, but a lot of people tend to lose interest. I also tend to just ramble and sometimes restate things multiple times. I'm trying to get better at making the videos direct and to the point.

@2ndHandHomeTheater Hehe. My wife said If we did a shot for every time I said "Umm".. we'd be in the hospital getting our stomachs pumped. K udos to you for knowing exactly what you're going to say and not using filler words. You're great at talking to the audience buddy.

Honestly, it's the power of editing. I also use filler words and stumble as I think of what I want to say next. I just try to edit out that stuff, but I appreciate the positive feedback.

Do you view any 4k discs in your setup if so what benifit do you get from watching 4k content on a 1080p setup?

I don't have many 4k discs, but with the ones I have, you can see a difference. However, you need a 4k player that can correctly tone map HDR to SDR to get the correct color grading and gamma if you don't use a 4k display. I have a Panasonic UB420, which is one of the best 4k players out there in regards to tone mapping. So the image looks really good despite it not being HDR or 4k. This is actually a topic that I'm planning a video on down the road. Thanks for the question.

It's not too bad. I have a dVision projector that I just got, and that thing cranks out some decent heat. The Marantz is on par with most projectors I've used in the past.
