Just one thing to note with this build, after testing, I find it incredibly important to get a kill IMMEDIATELY after your first dodge. Bcs after your first dodge, you only have 5 seconds to get another kill and that won’t happen if you don’t prepare your ammos or abilities beforehand. Make sure you have 2 stack of withering blades or special ammo weapons ready to guarantee a kill right after your first dodge. From there, you’d have 10s of infinite dodge time to get melee kills and loop
Then arc warlock kinda steals your kills, thus missing the renewal.. rip.
@@bradskull8049 kinda but I don’t see it as a big deal bcs Mactics went through the same scenario in his livestream and the build still worked well despite that
@@erluq9309 I'm sure theirs small loops to return back to the main loop. Build seems too gimmicky. I sadly didn't see any livestream.

@erluq9309 build rely's on Inaccurate canadian frisbys while targeting certain hit boxes. Spending too much time dodging nearby targets that can falcon punched your fart box in higher content. Sure you think you got same grenade uptime, but with build tweaks... I disagree. Tbh I spent all day testing this build. I could of went fishing for a better use of my day.

Strand, solar and stasis all can have similar loops
@@Sargatas its pointless on arc subclass. The melee literally refunds the dodge. Zero need to be able to spam dodge

Started using this build a couple of days ago, not been able to stop since! Great build
This build also works great for Solar and Strand. Solar much like the Ophidia Spathe build and Strand for a lot of chain melee kills + unraveling rounds.
I'm glad to see people are still making stasis Hunter builds because I was a hunter main prior to beyond light and I liked the idea of BIG duskfield grenade and still use it for PvP if I need to run trials on hunter or if I need something specifically for PvE hunter stuff but I've been maining warlock since I got my hand on necrotic grips and never looked back. The concept of withering blade is so cool but I've always felt like the melee itself is really bad unless you REALLY build around it. Don't get me wrong it can be useful but the release of strand and it's triple melee charges update it shows that Stasis is still good for alot of stuff but some of it's mechanics are outdated. I feel like the melee should be able to do solid damage and slow stacks with a single toss instead of relying on dumping all your charges to get a freeze going. I think mods rework are doing alot of heavy lifting to raise the class up as a whole but some buffs are still needed imo. Definitely gonna take another look at making Stasis hunter builds for general play and endgame stuff but it's hard to break the instinct to put on renewal grasps when I equip Stasis because BIG grenade just does something to my brain even though the exotic isn't exactly optimal lol

been using this since season 20 and I'm SO glad they improved this so much, I was only surprised one time realizing I kept spamming my abilities since the dodge used to be so limited

Hey Mac! Excited to try this build out, I've been trying to find a good stasis setup for too long! Also, I had a thought/suggestion: as someone who is trying to assemble the build as the video plays, I think it might be helpful to put favored stats first (or before the mods, at least) so I can find the right armor to equip and then add all of the mods to, instead of having to skip ahead to find the stats, pick my armor, and then backtrack to the mods section of the video.
Did he not mention discipline and intellect before the mod section?

@@Evo_1998 totally, I use d2armorpicker, but i have to find the section where he states the stats to pref before i can then pick the armor.. then* i have to go back and put the mods on that armor.
@@LordTonzilla typically I don't see it until after/late in the mod section. Not 100% sure for this video if it's mentioned earlier, as i've gotten in the habit now of skipping ahead to where it usually is in the video and then skipping back to the start and working from there. I'd just like to not have to. Ultimately its not a huge deal, but I figured the feedback would still be good to give b/c there might be others out there who are more bothered by it :)

So, I actually took the time and sat down and made this entire build from scratch. Like had to run the lost sector the exotic play the entire beyond light campaign on my hunter and continue to beat the darkness missions for aspect as well as the weekly missions for fragments.
I will say the grind was worth it, this build is S-tier in lower level content. However it’s about a B in higher level content. But if you are looking for something new and fun this is a great one to do it with.

@@joeslick2752from most lost sectors when they are featured is usually where you can find them usually
if you already have high stats and don't need hedrons I recommend you try conductions/fissures, they both work really well for this build.
Not only that but add a dynamo mod along with the hands on, with those 2 I was getting my super back one minute after using it
You can make a similar build with tempest strike for arc hunter. Its quite fun as well
If you need to get aspects, I recommend running a status, build with ages scepter
Going to try this out in the gms now, might even try it with arc

Thought this was going to incorporate the slowing dodge aspect, but it turned out to be even better. And here I thought Radiant Dance Machines were fun but generally useless. Can't wait to try this out.

I JUST watched Plunder’s new void dance machine build and I commented saying I was gonna try and cook up the same set up with my fav subclass stasis and as SOON as I click off YOUR vid showed up. Today’s a good day

after 2 hours of testing on a lego nightfall, t5 &7 deepdive and battlegrounds i can say that his other stasis build is superior to this one. while this one is focused on dodging and melee if you dont have your dodge and there are no enemies and you dont get a kill then youre out of luck whilst the other one is focused on regening your duskfield grenade and relies on Frostees running cooldown it can be negated by using verglass curve and get similar coodowns but you can throw grenades for days and verglass stasis crystals makes it very easy to get your grenades back if you dont have your grenade active.
another thing you can switch the whisper of hedrons for conduction and makes it a little easier to get your overshields instead of chasing the shards you create, you do lose all the stat bonuses you get from hedrons but i didnt really see a difference as long as you keep freezing enemies with your abilities and have your grenades at all times
edit: the only stats you "need" is just resilience, mobility and discipline, other stats are useless imo. however i would focus on discipline 1st followed by resilience and mobility in that order, my current stats are 100 dis + res and 93 mob the rest dont matter.
i rely alot on verglass curve honestly, it goes very well with his other build. people are sleeping on that bow.

Frost335 hunter 100% I've tweaked his build so I run double special, agers scepter with fissure fragment, instead of chains. I'm either too far or teammates shatter my crystal.
See stuff like this is legit. A legit new type of build that encoporates an exotic that isn’t highly used. Good shit as always 😊

Ager's Scepter for sure but I can't find anything that feels good in the energy slot either. Been running a sidearm, might try a HC

For this, I'd say aegers sceptre or cryostesia, alternatively chill clip fusion and using your preferred exotic in the energy slot
Ive been struggling to make a good/fun build on stasis hunter. I just feel like stasis doesn't have as much build crafting potential as the other subclasses. This looks very interesting, but stasis could still definitely use an overhaul of some kind.

9:57 what is the mele power looking icon at this time stamp. I have never seen this in game, so assume it must be some mod that is being used, but I cannot seem to find any information on mods, beside the in game "mods" for equipment??
For head mod dynamo is really good since we are rapidly dodging and dynamo reduces our super cooldown with every dodge.
I am gonna be trying this out with the new exotic scout rifle as the primary, just curious how itll go

Cool build concept (no pun intended). I'm surprised that you didn't mention dynamo and hands-on for helmet mods. While not "mandatory" they both seem like no-brainers for this build, especially dynamo.
you mentioned this is good for all levels of play but everything shown was solo. would love to see some video of you running something higher end with other people, I Tried another stasis build a while back and it looked great, but it keeps getting broken by other people because they destroy the shards I need to continue my loop. wondering how this is effected by something similar?

Am i missing something? Why not use the bomber mod for grenade energy when dodging. would that not charge it back real fast?
You could, having the double powerful attraction increases the range of the orb pickup, but you could swap it with bomber
Only issue with Statis ATM is the strength of Strand... so in LFG GMs for example having stasis mixed with strand can lead to conflicting status effects :( When Strand gets nerfed Stasis may become the King once more!!
Agree on the first part, but even with the incoming suspend nerf, I think stasis is due for an upgrade to compete with all the other 3.0 subclasses. I really hope that stasis not being in the artifact this season was b/c they are gearing up for a stasis upgrade for season 22 (please do this Bungie, please). I've got too many great stasis weapons in my vault just dying to be used.

instead of touch of winter, I found alot of use out of shatterdive, on beefy targets its nice to be able to double shuriken then shatter
Opens up the fragment that pulls shards to you as well. Which was the big gripe of the build for me in NFs.

I have good armor and I focused all my stat mods into discipline and 1 to mobility to get it closer to 40 and I have tier 10 resilience without trying lol and 100 discipline this build is so much fun GGs
Back when you were working on this build on streamer I called you would do better than my version. I was correct... making me look bad man. Great build though, I already started adopting what was missing in my version!

Me personally you should’ve went with focusing strike rather than bolstering detonation, but other than that I’ll thank you for a new stasis build aside my mask of bakris or bombardiers
