I prefer the staging of Benoit Jacquot in Paris and the marvellous Albert by Ludovic Tezier and the fantastic belgian Soprano coloratura Anne Catherine Gilet, as Sophie, all with a perfect prononciation of French.Sophie Koch is always excellent in German opera and french, large ambitus, high notes amazing and low not more Dari in the third act, like the pianissimo of Kaufmann, the German text is present with a french music, a réal challenge.i saw the two performances and réally i prefere the Paris version, you have the DVD and Michel Plasson the best conductor for this opera
