Im gonna need vids for all hero talent visuals ! I really think the visuals alone will silence at least a small part of critics, because imo thats what makes or breaks hero talents! this looks so cool! nothing I would want more on a prot or ret honestly
I really don't mind being pigeonholed into a specific talent on this one. While I get that it can and probably will be frustrating on many specs, eye of tyr is one of my favourite spells so I look forward to Templar
Possibly stupid question, but what effect is making your hammer passively glow like that? There's an icon on the buff bar that almost looks like an Enhancement shaman's weapon imbuement effect.
@@rickysimons8517 It's not the "Light of the Earth-Warder" enchant illusion, that just applies a yellow particle effect like the enchantments we had in Vanilla. If anything this is more like the Holy Infusion illusion we were supposed to get in WoD that never made it out of the PTR.

Nice video! I still dont get how "hammer of light" is the key feature of templar instead of "lightsmith". Feels like blizzard missed the mark on templar's theme and flavor.
Paladins in wow are all about the light and hammers, they nailed the theme here possibly the most out of all the hero talents. Same goes for herald of the Sun

It's probably the buff from the lightsmith hero talent. It "imbues" your weapon.
It's a weapon illusion you can buy from AH, light warden I think its called

Very underwhelming. I was most anticipating Templar Paladin but it wildly missed the mark thematically.

I completely disagree, they nailed the theme and flavor of templar. When I think Lightsmith, I don't think of an ability like Hammer of Light at all.
