tbh, the players that get converted should have a chance not to die and can join the fungus.
Good idea except trollers can use this to ruin the server

suggestion: make it so that when someone dies to the fungus and becomes an infected they stay with their normal avatar but with several green mushroom-like growths on them to add a bit more detail

If you were to upgrade it more, I think one thing you could do is make only a few actually go for the players while the rest spread it’s reign.
You create and add epic things to your game, so good work.

This could be made into a cool game, or another cool game
Like the game involves you capturing creatures to grow more and destroy everything
Or it could be multiplayer and one person is selected to control the fungus. You must slowly try to get everyone while the humans try to find a cure or survive until the time is up

I kinda wish you could use this as like an expensive single use in that game and witness the destruction, it would have to be expensive since it's a server nuke basically and I by no means would be able to buy it but it would make it more exciting, having it start pouring out of a nearby house when you least expect it.
I love when someone codes an infection, i just like stuff that infects the terrain (floor, roof, walls, basically every type of surface).

I have a idea for your game
So you can actually enter a cave there is no key requirements and if you enter you’ll get special rewards, but for a cost half of your health/soul if you buy two things you immediately die and turn into a demon. Yes, you can lose these things only if you die and there’s also goblins in the cave that will try to steal your money or your expensive things the goblins have very short teeth and they are green There’s a big one he will start crushing up with a cutey of him, grabbing you and then ripping your insides off

my honest opinion is, this is a most smartest intelligent infection disease ever.
I feel like this concept could make a very good Roblox survival horror game where you survive from this and find weapons to defend yourself whilst this is growing and when you kill the mother egg (the place that this fungus originates from) another one spawns but is more smart and this goes on for 10 rounds (or until everyone dies)

you should start it really low, but as time go's on it becomes better, but make like a big core and someone could like ingredients and put in somewhere and craft an antidote that u put on the code to destroy it, but u really have limited time cuz it could like become better every 30 seconds, and u can only find the ingredients when the infection starts, and make them spawn randomly across the world

the way that fungus works reminds me of a creature from a game called "the eternal cylinder"
