2 dogs same stage different age

we train sheepdogs. we often start sheepdog training the fundamentals of herding, with pups as young as 3months old.
we show how we train the basics in this video.
John Heffernan is a sheepdog trainer based in wicklow. he breeds sheepdog pups occasionally. these sheepdogs are registered working Border Collies. John trains on the same 5 training sheep. he can train all the basics of herding in this small paddock. he will train the dog to outrun, fetch, drive, shed and pen in this paddock.
when John trains sheepdogs for other people, they usually just ask him to put an outrun, a stop and a recall on their dogs.
John has put 100s of sheepdogs through this field over the years. he has been training and working sheepdogs since he was a young man. he is also a sheep farmer and breeds wicklow cheviot ewes. he grazes them on his hillfarm for half if the year and brings them onto better farmland for the winter months.

I think an important thig that might get overlooked is when the pup made a mess he got a scolding but he kept on with the work. THAT is a big deal. If you make it a big deal it will be. Nice work👍👍
