AA have announced they will be starting up new services, direct flights to various U.S cities from New Zealand sometime later this year., could be because United Airlines and Delta have already started up this same direct flights beforehand.
AA is just trying to compete with UA and DL. Why they pulled out of AKL from LAX in the first place is beyond me. The airline needs some competent people in it's management only then will the airline succeed
AA is the worst airline in the US in my personal opinion. Spirit is actually better hilariously. But I am looking forward to the A321XLR which is the intended replacement of the A321T. The product they revealed looked very posh.
