You guys have came long way, but how will you update the house with all the stuff in the way? Maybe finish one room and a time just my OCD and cluster phobia talking 😂
I've been wondering the same thing. I do know that last winter must've been very cold without amenities. So its all about making life more comfortable this winter. They can always work indoors this winter. At least these are my assumptions. 😊
You know, that's a great question! We are still figuring out how we want to finish out the house. We will most likely finish it room by room. Certain projects will definitely require us to move stuff outside temporarily. Kacie is working on making sure only the bare essentials are in the house. Now that the weather has warmed up, we are no longer worried about storing temperature sensitive items in the house.
We moved into the house this last winter due to the cold weather. The RV did not hold up well as the temperatures got into the negatives. The RV furnace has also been giving up problems for multiple months, so we decided the best option was to move into the house. The wood stove did a really good job keeping us warm this winter! This summer and fall, our priority is to finish the roof, insulate the house, finish the bathroom, complete siding, and hang dry wall.
I'd rather him go rabbit hunting than have the rabbits eat his garden. They've spent so much time on that garden! Rabbit hunt and eat that meat. I grew up eating all kinds of game from my dad and brothers hunts. So, keep your garden and hunt rabbits.
Kacie has always wanted a pet rabbit... ever since she was a little girl, so she's a little bit attached to the rabbits. Adam has every intention to go rabbit hunting... I'm sure that will be a comical video!
Alot of progress, great to see all the changes. Many trials in doing new things. You will appreciate this all.

Perfect planning!
Why not use a piece of 2x4 for the stair support?
We decided to use steel for strength and the look and feel of them.
@@bigskyoffgrid Thank you!

Well, there is that. 😆
Don’t you dare go rabbit hunting.
