- This early medieval silver, dating from 500-600 AD and unearthed in Fife during the 19th century, is one of the largest Pictish hoards ever to be found. In this video, Glenmorangie Research Fellow Alice Blackwell explores the history of the hoard and exposes a fake in its midst.
Part of the Glenmorangie Research Project, Scotland’s Early Silver, exploring the use of silver in Late Roman and Early Medieval Scotland (AD 300-900).
