Los Angeles "Keep That Wheel Up Challenge" Ride Out!

- We teamed up with @bmxradrides & offered up a new Arctic White Big Ripper to the rider who could keep it up the longest in the "Keep That Wheel Up Challenge!" We cruised all through the streets & beach paths of Marina del Rey, Venice Beach, and Santa Monica. Well over 500 riders came out and joined the ride. It was a sight to be seen! In the end, the OG, @one_wheel_champ outlasted all of the young whipper snappers & took the win and the new Big Ripper. Congrats dude!

A week ago I had no idea these things existed, but now after getting my 7 yr old his first bike & wanting to ride with him I plan to start saving for one, it nearly brought tears to my eyes to find out I can enjoy bmx again, it means everything to be able to share that experience with my boys. It would be pretty dope to do a “keep that wheel up challenge” only on a fixed gear ⚙️
Actually, a fixed gear can be easier while riding. You have more control over the rear wheel than with a freewheel and you don't need to rely on the rear brake. But coming to a stop is a bit more difficult. Then again, that makes it just like a unicycle, but with a gear ratio and not 1:1.
Love these vids. I ordered my Monster Quad that's coming on Monday, then I'm going to look for the Perry Kramer 27.5. I hope I can find that one.

@@dudeonbike800 No because riders in the Netherlands aren't doing wheelies through streets in close proximity to each other. And because this video is a sponsored ride out by a company who are suppose to role models. I get that these are very good riders who know how to crash but it only takes you 2 seconds to put on a helmet while it can ruin your entire life without one.
