Urban Sketching Demo on Toned Paper | Hahnemuhle The Grey Book

I hope you enjoy my demonstration of sketching a tudor style cottage on grey toned paper in my style. This is how I would approach an urban sketch of the same subject matter. I'm still new to using grey paper so this was a bit of an exploration for me too. I'm really enjoying sketching on the grey tone and if you ar elooking to shake things up a bit I recommend grabbing some toned paper (whether grey, tan or even pale blue) and giving this a go too.

I am new to urban sketching and recently stumbled across your TH-cam page. Totally enjoying all the great videos and really like your sketchbooks. You're giving me lots of great ideas. I have done watercolor painting in the past, but not in a sketchbook setting. You have inspired me though to get a couple of gray toned sketchbooks, Tombow gray scale markers, Sakura white gelly rolls as well as a few black fine liners .... Now the blank page LOL - Thanks for all that you do!
