He opened his fly instead and made sure he torpedoed his kid's marriage. He intended to land the final gut punch by taking you away the next day. But you refused to walk out on your marriage and go off with him. That's the only reason he's pretending to be sorry now.
@No Thanks I think Liam had gotten so used to having two women fighting over him that he just couldn't resist trying to get Sally to fall for him so his triangle could continue. He totally disregarded Steffy's feelings about his involvement in Spectra and didn't stop until Sally confessed her love for him. He just wasn't expecting his confession to have such far reaching consequences as his repulsive father using it as an excuse to screw his wife and her allowing it.
