Weather looked amazing. The camp sure looks like it’s getting cozy and squared away a bit more in every video you make. Can’t wait to see some videos from your summer adventures and excursions. Stay safe and keep it shiny side up 😎🎣🛥️
Hello Derek! It’s been a while! Sitting here in 30+ temps it’s strange to see a winter video! But it does look beautiful! Nice stove! I like it and it’s going to make things so much more comfortable for you on those sub- arctic adventures! Take care!> Terry!
You’ve just taught me something! I had no idea teflon tape had such a high temperature resistance until I researched it based off your comment! Thank you! I actually picked up some flue tape for this purpose. Gonna wait to use it after testing done other things out first. New video is coming out later today 😎
Was there maybe an O ring gasket on the gas cap that deteriorated/disintegrated and fell off which has compromised the seal? 🤷♂️ No matter how many hundreds of times you light that mantle, you will always jump, at least a little 😆 I still have the (red) one my dad bought for me in 1971 at the old Abercrombie and Fitch store in midtown Manhattan
I hear ya! You should’ve seen the jump the first time I lit it. Hahaha. There’s a seal there but there’s some cracking. I think it’ll do well with a new one. I love your story of the red one. Memories is what it’s all about! Thanks for watching Alan! //derek

Working on it! Stay Tuned! Haha
Another great adventure video. Can't wait to watch your next one.
Glad you enjoyed it. It shouldn’t be as long for the next one! 😎

Thanks Terry! I figured a nice cool video would be nice and refreshing in the heat of the summer! Haha. See you for the next one!
Binge watching ❤
My most favourite comment that I’ve received to date. Thank you! 🥰
Wrap some ptfe tape around the threads, that should fix it.
